Unfortunately the Configuration Editor hasn't been updated from its initial version many years ago. In other words, your request won't be implemented any time soon. Perhaps take a look at the Peace equalizer (interface for Equalizer APO). It has been updated for more than 60 times now. And, of course, it shows the currently active configuration in the title bar. But it works a bit differently which makes it far superior (and popular) to the Configuration Editor.
