i dont know what happened but my apo is now not working at all. im trying with peace too and i added peace.txt file and clicked upload but nothing happens it just makes a new tab(file) same thing for a loud mic set i had. it just made a new file with a bunch of filters and no effect happened.
I'm not sure what you're refering to. The peace.txt doesn't need to be added and what 'upload' button did you click?
Anyway, usually after some Windows update installation Equalizer APO might stop working. It can automatically repair the 'damage' done by the update by starting the Configurator. Sometimes this isn't enough so Equalizer APO has to be installed again on the target audio device in the Configurator. Furthermore, after doing this it might be that some troubleshooting setting change is needed to get Equalizer APO going.
also when i turn on a config txt file my voicemod disconnects and i have to reconfigure
pre amp not working
keeps saying this too
Looking at your first video you probably need to disable the exclusive access for a recording/streaming app. By default an app gets exclusive access to a mic preventing other apps from having recording/streaming access. This can be altered by unchecking the exclusive mode chekboxes on the Windows sound panel of the mic on the advanced tab (see image how it looks like).
If this message keeps popping up after doing the above, you might take a look at this wiki. Perhaps following this wiki offers a solution.
so i do this for voicemod's virtual mic which the default for capture? or do i do this for my bumblebee mic?
I'm not sure which one but I would try the Bumblebee mic first as this probably doesn't have any sound enhancements (APOs) which may interfere with Equalizer APO. The popup message is easier to deal with, for instance by unchecking the "Use original APO" checkboxes for the Bumblebee. These are 2 of the troubleshooting options for an audio device in the Configurator, available after clicking on the device name in the left 'Connector' and then checking the Troubleshooting options checkbox.
.
.
There is but you need to click on 'Microphone' in the left connector column. When turning white on blue the troubleshooting options appear. Unfortunately it's userunfriendly.
It looks like the Bumblebee and VoiceMod are correctly configured according to the Equalizer APO troubleshooting wiki.
So what should i do?

i also followed this guide https://appuals.com/how-to-fix-equalizer-apo-not-working-on-windows-10/#:~:text=%5BSolution%5D%20Equalizer%20APO%20not%20Working%20on%20Windows%2010,to%20work%20properly%20if%20they%20are...%20See%20More.
for the deleting registry key step i couldnt find my voicemod registry
why this message always comes up when apo is already installed on selected devices????
SFX/GFX WORKS. I CHANGED IT TO THIS AND NOW MY SOUNDBOARD GETS LOUD AND QUIET. THIS IS THE ONLY SOLUTION YALL
So you have found your way to the troubleshooting options :)
What's good is that the "Use original APO" checkboxes are greyed out. That means that there aren't any APOs on the Bumblebee and VoiceMod which could interfere with Equalizer APO. The bad thing is that Equalizer APO could only be installed on the pre-mix stage, meaning you have to select this in front of all other commands (on the top row). By default Equalizer APO works on the post-mix stage. This pre-mix stage command can be added by: Click green plus button -> Control -> Stage -> Check the pre-mix and capture stages. And perhaps post-mix too.
I don't know why that message is shown. It could be that Equalizer APO has tried to install itself on the VoiceMod but failed. Not all audio devices are compatible with the Windows APO standard. Probably the VoiceMod isn't as it's a virtual audio device.
Great to hear that you've found a solution. In the latest Windows updates Microsoft has reverted to the ancient Windows Vista LFX/GFX so that may work, on Windows 10 and 11. But the next best thing is SFX/EFX.
Looking at the Appuals guide it seems to be a good one to follow. It states most things that can be addressed. I'm not sure about the 'delete' step although there can be an issue which involves permissions set to the wrong user (instead of you).

@2:32 i don't have the folder called "equalizerAPO' for me i reinstalled 3 times and it always gives me localdisk>program files>config and i don't have the EqualizerAPO.dll file either. but i do see alot of files for peace. EDIT:i actually see the EqualizerAPO.dll and other files in the root of the program files, it is not in its own folder called Equalizer Apo like yours.
That's an issue I've never seen before. At least at installation you should see the image like the attached one. So Equalizer APO should be installed in c:\program files\equalizerapo. It could be that some antimalware/firewall app is sandboxing or blocking the folder creation.
yeah something is wrong. i recently had trouble again and so i deleted equalizer apo and now i dont see SFX/GFX Aymore. i only see LFX/GFX and so i tried that and the basic preamp works but not the config i have always been using(benxo_blazing.sets.txt) and just like the first time and few more times i downloaded equalizer as "c:\program files\equalizerapo" but it keeps showing up as "localdisk>program files>config " and i am also having a issue uninstalling peace. it shows up under uninstall programs but then it gives me that error which is in one of these screenshots.
i have provided these screenshots of every issue im getting here https://ibb.co/r4JLbP6

By uninstalling Equalizer APO probably the Peace files (program, etc.) were also deleted. In previous Equalizer APO versions this didn't happen. The developer probably has changed the uninstallation procedure so it deletes files of c:\program files\equalizerapo\config, the folder where Peace is located.
In recent Windows updates Microsoft has reverted to (ancient) LFX/GFX for Windows 10 and 11. The modern SFX/EFX and SFX/MFX might be unavailable. This may change with any future Windows update.
If "benxo_blazing.sets.txt" has a device selection command you need to delete it and insert a new one. The Windows update has created a new mic device. Peace tries to resolve such changes but the Configuration Editor doesn't have such advanced features.
why does it says this everytime i open apo? i already have the device i want selected and it already has apo installed on it
I guess you have installed Equalizer APO onto the mic in the Configurator on the Capture tab.
This error message does pop up for certain devices. We don't know why and perhaps the deverloper doesn't know either. What you can try is to change some troubleshooting options for the mic. Do you know how to access them?
yes i do. is there anything else i can use? can i just use Peace?
