Hello, I've saw other tickets too but it seems like nothing helps me.
I tried everything:
Giving special permissions
Reinstalling the program
Turning off the antivirus
and so on..
I have spoken to windows' technical support
and I quote: Windows 11 isn't compatible with many programs, all that can be done is for the Software owner to make it compatible.

But I still think there's hope and I wanted to try and solve this problem once and for all, perhaps so maybe other people are able to fix it too.
All the help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Windows 11 isn't compatible with many programs, all that can be done is for the Software owner to make it compatible.

That's quite a bold statement. It seems a bit of nonsense from a Microsoft employeeas they often do unfortunately. Microsoft benefits from having all apps work on Windows 11. Imagine a scenario where only 90% of the apps work on Windows 11. Hell will break lose. The truth is that Windows 11 isn't ready for deployment but Microsoft already does. The same happened with Windows 10. For instance, I had to buy a new laptop as the old one was broken. Back then Windows 10 didn't yet had all features Windows 7 had. Besides annoying for me it was quite shameful of Microsoft. Obviously they didn't learn their lesson happily repeating the same mistake. In other words, wait a while and Equalizer APO might start working (as it is or after a re-installation).

Safe to say the quote isn't true for Equalizer APO . Besides messing with/up Windows 11, Microsoft might prevent Equalizer APO from working if they're really targeting it. Equalizer APO is just another Audio Processing Object (APO is a sound enhancements) so there's nothing that should stand in the way of working. Of course an audio driver might not like being "highjacked" by the Configurator when its audio stream is also running through the audio engine of Equalizer APO (equalizerapo.dll to be precise). And any antivirus/firewall app may prevent the Configurator from rerouting the audio stream of an audio device.

On to your issue, usually registry keys are deleted or not written when some antivirus/firewall app is actively monitoring the Windows registry. Sometimes the Configurator notices that and pops up some message. But since you've turned of your antivirus maybe something else is going on here?

I have no clue, I'm in queue to contact microsoft to see if anything can be done about windows deleting regedit keys.

Update: They told me how to fix it:
In short, the only thing that can be done is restore to an access point (restore point)
I've decided to email microsoft about it and report the but to them.

Also, my APO is broken, I can't make the db go higher than -1.5db for some reason.
    Edit: Nvm fixed it

For your info I'm not the developer of Equalizer APO. I'm the developer the popular Peace equalizer interface.

Restoring to an access point is (again) not very helpful. By restoring to such point the Windows registry is also restored (and that's alright) but it may not resolve the issue of why registry keys are deleted or not written in the first place.

I can't make the db go higher than -1.5db for some reason.

How did you try this? In the Configuration Editor with a pre amp command?
