Was unable to launch APO due to another issue, which the fix was to delete a registry key in CURRENT_USER however in error I deleted the key in LOCAL_MACHINE. Followed advice from other threads about how to recreate Child APOs but none have been successful in getting the app to launch. Any help would be appreciated.

And have you tried to uninstall and reinstall Equalizer APO?

Having the same issues. Reinstalled EQAPO trying version 1.2.1 AND 1.1.2 but didn't fix the problem. Also created Child APOs in the registry, used a dummy variable as suggested.

Probably has something to do with registry keys being deleted (as is being suggested by others) but not sure why this is the case.

If registry keys are being deleted, it's usually some app monitoring the Windows registry. But in this case it's a bit weird as the Child APOs key is made at installation by the installer of Equalizer APO. No antivirus/firewall app should have issues with that. I don't how to figure out which app does actually do the deleting.
