As I'm doing the most support for Equalizer APO I've noticed that a lot of VST plugins don't run or run with issues. Btw. I'm not the developer of Equalizer APO. I'm the developer the popular Peace equalizer interface. Anyway, it can be rather difficult to get working setup. In your case probably some audio buffer issue is happening every 10 to 15 seconds. If the VST plugins don't have settings for this then it's almost impossible to solve it. But perhaps you can figure out which VST is the culprit and substitute that one.
