USB mic gain has no effect
A system-wide equalizer for Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10 / 11

I installed Equalizer APO on Windows 10 64 bit using a USB mic. Wanting to increase the volume because it is too low, I had hoped this would resolve that problem. The screen image shows it has been increased but when testing with the Windows configuration there is no difference. It does work with the speaker volume so it tends to be installed correctly.
Have you installed Equalizer APO onto this USB mic in the Configurator on the Capture tab?
Yes, it is there.

Great. Perhaps you could try to set the "Install as" troubleshooting option to SFX/EFX. This is the Windows 10 way of doing Audio Processing Objects (APO). Do you know how to access the troubleshooting options?
Did the LCS USB mic come with its own software? If so, you could uncheck the "Use original APO" checkboxes to disable it.
Btw. After changing an option be sure to restart your computer.
Thank you for your reply. I do know after testing an app called OSB, it has
a mic volume control and works perfectly.

I'm guessing you're refering to OBS instead of OSB :) Anyway, is everything okay now?
