Saving config file as new name means the APO stops working.
A system-wide equalizer for Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10 / 11

Windows 10 Pro version 2004.
HPZ800 with dual 6 core Xeon.
Using the Config.txt works fine on Virtual Audio cable Line 1, I can add delay and EQ and adjustments have an immediate effect.
The moment I save as my own set up the delay or EQ stop working.
The audio pauses in the "save as" version if an adjustment is made, just like it was working but actually no effect is applied.
Trying something obvious like 15 band equaliser and setting it so that only the frequencies over 1KHz are allowed. In Config.txt it works in the "saved as" version it doesn't.
Only config.txt is read by the audio engine of Equalizer APO. To have different processed you need to include it by using the Include command.
Hi Peter
I did try that but it didn't work

Perhaps I'm not quite understanding what you need. For the Peace interface this is the contents of config.txt:
The file peace.txt is generated according what the user does on the Peace interface. This results into commands for equalization and/or effects which are then processed by Equalizer APO.
This is also how a multiple configuration setup in the Configuration Editor can be established:
where the proper include command can be switched on whilst switching the others off.
Is the above what you can use in your case?
