This is very nice, Juha! I don't think I need to work on my own anymore, you certainly seem to have the GUI part handled. :) I'll just be using yours when it's released.

From my point of view it is a big bug if you overwrite the existing config file without creating ein bak file or at least to give an alarm message before overwriting. And it makes not better if you do not read the original content. Of course i have always a copy of config direct in the folder, in other case i would have one hour of fun to create a new config.
I'm self doesnt know where is the problem to write a parser for original config file, but you can do it as you think. I will use the editor also in the future.

Updated to version 0.35. Improved the config.txt writing process so that writing happens every 150ms as default (delay can be manually adjusted through a parameter in peqgui10mc.ini).

I'm going to release another free opensource GUI project soon. It's a 10 band multi channel Parametric EQ GUI for EqAPO.
I'm not sure if I can get the magnitude plot window to work fast enough (I'm still learning C++/DSP programming and using VC++ 2010 Form tools only).
When ready, I'll post the download link here.
EDIT: Magnitude plot is now quite fast. V. 0.30 is coming out soon (few new features as like show curve for all active bands, frequency labels, etc.).

Because of I didn't want to do it that way ... and of course, becaus of less coding ....
IMO, more static type kind of filters done using REW (and your tuned By ear EqAPO filters) can be placed into pre-filt.txt and/or post-filt.txt.

There was a bug in writing the filter line to config.txt (Oct was written using lowercase o). That bug made the software useless.
Just updated to version 0.32 (should now work correctly).
