Some equalizers such as SRS Premium Sound, Asus Sonicmaster and Dolby Home Theater v4, they are come from OEM laptop or come from modded audio driver.

They are as same principle as Equalizers APO using audio processing objects.

Now with APO Driver, you can make them work on Vista to 10 non OEM laptop/PC.
Also, you can have multiple equalizers if you have Windows 8.1 to 10
It even can make Viper4Windows without Equalizer APO

Although APO Driver may be a nice piece of software perhaps this isn't the right forum to promote it.
Another remark: It seems that Viper4Windows is using the (open) source code of Equalizer APO so basically it's the same as Equalizer APO.
