I use usb-microphone.
Try youse other troubleshooting optiont but they also did not help resolve this error.
Granting full rights in the registry didn't help either.
I keep getting this error and the program doesn't work. Can you suggest any other possible solutions?
Windows 10
How's it in Configurator (pops up when you install EqualizerAPO and can be run from menu option)? Does your mic allow APO installation or is it experimental mode which gets installed?

Tried all the options it experimental mode in configurator, but on startup EqualizerAPO i get a message "APO has not been installed to the selected device".

I am attaching a screenshot. In Configurator seen that APO is installed. But when running editor, a warning appears that APO is not installed on the devices. (In the editor itself, just the right microphone is selected)
Indeed, it's weird. Did you need to install software for this USB mic? It could be that this software is undoing the installation of Equalizer APO. Also try the unchecking of both the "Use original APO" although usually there are greyed out for a mic.

Thanks for the proposed solution. I noticed that despite the error, all functions Equalizer APO work, so I decided to leave everything as is. Thanks to all

That's nice. Pretty weird though but looking into the program code it could be a matter of rights, in this case accessing the Windows registry. What happens if you start the Configuration Editor with administrator rights (right mouse click menu -> Run as administrator)?

After installing Equalizer APO onto your USB mic in the Configurator does it stay installed after the requested computer restarted?

when i start the Configuration Editor with administrator rights nothing changes. Error "APO has not been installed to the selected device" stay
So the registry rights issue is ruled out. I don't else what could be wrong.
I guess it's working for output ... not for input device (mic). You could check this by setting filters for mic device only.
EDIT: It's years since I've played with EqualizerAPO so I could not test what I wrote. See https://sourceforge.net/p/equalizerapo/wiki/Configuration%20reference/#stage-since-version-09
