So im trying to install EAPO to voicemeeter potato, but when i try the troubleshooting option of the configurator, i cant check any checkboxes and the option to install as lfx/gfx dont change when i click the other options. When i install through the installer, the EQ dosent work (volume dosent change) but it says that APO is installed. I couldnt find anyone with the same problem as me.

As I understand it, up till now Equalizer APO only supports VoiceMeeter and VoiceMeter Banana. Perhaps in a future version Potato will be supported too but if you really need it, ask it of the creator of Equalizer APO Jonas Thedering.

Sorry, I should've been clearer. I tried with banana before potato and the result is the same.

      Great!
I do see that your former post needs moderation by the Equalizer APO creator Jonas Thedering. Then we can see what you've written.

I said "sorry for not being too clear, ive tried banana with the exact same problems" but for some reason if i reply on my phone it goes straitgh to moderation

mmm.. At least you did manage to post it now. Perhaps the website SourceForge on a mobile phone has some issues.

Any clue how you were able to get A1 going? And is it enough (as it's only 1 virtual device)?

I did a fresh install of both voicemeeter and EAPO, and during the installation of eapo i didnt check any devices at all, restart the pc. Open apo again and only checked A1 without any troubleshooting options. It dindt prompt me to restart but i did it anyway and it worked. Hope that was clear enough

Thanks for the detailed walk-through. So getting no prompt of restarting may cause a problem. One might think VoiceMeeter is now set up but a restart is still needed. Do you think this works for the other devices A2 and A3?

I can try on a2 and a3 later and reply. To answer you other question, only 1 virtual device for my use is enough (im using eapo to boost high end of my headphone and get a real time dynamic compressor with reacomp vst)

Ive installed on all 5 virtual devices and the 3 virtual outputs. All seem to work fine. Didnt have to install anything from scratch, just launched the configurator, checked all devices and a couple of restarts. (The second restart was to fix the crackling in the audio due to asio4all not being a good boy). I guess the problems i was having was just windows 10 being windows 10

That sounds solid. It gives nice info for others with similar issues. And don't get my started on Windows 10 :)
