MIcrophone EQ doesn't work, when I set an eq, and listen through playback devices, it just makes a high pitch buzz for a second, then cuts out and no sound.

EQ's are possible on input devices like a mic and output like speakers. 6 and half years ago I began using Equalizer APO on my newly bought Bluetooth headphones. But I did use it to boost the bass a little for the mic before buying a decent mic.
The Configuration Editor has a bug. It happens when the analysis panel is detached and the editor is then closed. Perhaps this is the case. The solution is to delete the "WindowState" value from the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\EqualizerAPO\Configuration Editor" registry key.
There might be a solution for this high pitch mic issue. If you're familiar with the Peace interface then select the "Microphone mono" configuration. In commands it's even easier. Just select the left channel before EQ-ing:

After I closed Editor.exe it now keeps CTD without error on open.
What do you mean by "keeps CTD without error on open"?
I open it, it immediately closes. Anyways I just edit config.txt since it's set to default.
As for EQ anyway to use on mic?

Another thing, select your mic by the device command and put it before the channel command and the eq commands.
