Is there a way i can force the apo to be installed as LFX/GFX on my device instead of the other 2 options? I'm trying to install it on my default realtek driver, not any virtual cable method.

I guess when LFX/GFX isn't in the list of APO techniques or it doesn't want to be installed then it might not be possible. Why do you want LFX/GFX? In principle this old Windows Vista/7/8 technique.

Ah ok. I saw a couple of videos which recommended it for warzone. I wanted to use hesuvi with it. Is there one better than the other for my use case out of the remaining 2 options? sfx/efx or sfx/mfx? Sorry i don't understand much of what exactly these APO's do

It is confusing. An Audio Processing Object (APO) is a technical name for a piece of software that does sound effects/enhancements of an audio stream of a device. In principle the chosen APO technique isn't relevant as Equalizer APO works the same with any APO technique. But it could be that some audio devices only have the former LFX/GFX. Although nowadays the Window 10 introduced SFX/EFX and SFX/MFX are widely supported.
So choosing an APO technique is just about if it works with Equalizer APO or not. Nothing more to it. The Device Selector tests all 3 and chooses the first one that seems to work. But you can select and try all 3 yourself.

bonjour a vous ! jai exactement le meme probleme en voulant installer pour warzone , je voulais savoir suel solutiok tu avais trouve ? merci d´avance !!
I'm not sure if Equalizer APO can be installed on VB-Audio Hi-Fi cable virtual audio device. If it doesn't include an Audio Processing Object (APO) Equalizer APO can't be installed thus used. You may need to install it on a regular (hardware) audio device instead.
