This wonderful software is not working with realtek alc1200 chipset :( Everything seems to be ok but any changes doesn't affect audio...
I used it on my previous ALC892 motherboard, and it was awsome. Please consider updating or giving some workaround ! :(

The developer is very active on this project. I might be able to help. Have you tried some troubleshooting options for the audio device in the Configurator? For instance, SFX/EFX of the "Install as" dropdownbox (at the right). This is the Windows 10 way of doing Audio Processing Objects (APO).

    Edit: Isn't very active.

Hi Peter. Thx for express reply :) Yeah - i tried to select troubleshooting, checked audio enhancments. There are no errors in a log directory (even no log) :(

I dont have such options SFX/EFX. Where it should be?

Now im trying to check older versions. I'll give feedback.

    on 1.2 doesn't work too.. :(

There is strange thing also. When troubleshooting is enabled with my only one and main playback device no options are available under troubleshooting checkbox. I managed to see that options when i also checked some of capture devices (stereo mix i think). Maybe that will help to reproduce the bug/non compliance.

Sorry, I made a typo. Should say "isn't very active". Anyway, SFX/EFX is for Windows 10 and most modern dri vers do have this option. But on Window 7 you only get LFX/GFX as that was the standard on this Windows version.

The log is sometimes stored in the user folder. I don't know why. It happened on my computer once. I think it's in c:\users\<your name="">\appdata\local\temp if it isn't in the folder as mentioned in the wiki. Of course the trace log needs to be enabled.</your>

To be sure, have you clicked on the connector name of the device (left column). Only then the troubleshooting options appear and aren't greyed out.

        I have Windows 10. Lol :) I was wondering about this developer's activity :)
I will have to enable log in registry and see what's there. I'm checking the device, and there are no options in troubleshooting .
One more thing - i googled tthis but the site is not active. Only link in google remains:

Yes, it looks like that everything is going alright. So that leaves only the troubleshooting stuff in the wiki. Have you also done the things mentioned in this part.

If that website is right, then nothing much can be done. I mean I don't know how to proceed. If you're saying there are no troubleshooting options, are they all greyed out? At least the "Pre-mix Install APO" or "Post-mix Install APO" should be enabled. Are there any other devices on which the troubleshooting options are available?

      • Bartek Gawinkowski

Not even greyed. There were no options. Somehow antivirus was blocking some parts of software :/
I'm so happy that it works :D
ps. i installed AVG and its not disturbing EQAPO :D

SOLVED! Finally after spending few hours i found a cause. That was norton antivirus, causing EQAPO not working. Steps that made EQAPO works again:

    1. Uninstall norton protection. Reboot.
    2. Uninstal EQAPO - with all settings. Reboot.
    3. Installing EQAPO - now finally i can see troubleshooting and SFX/EFX opptions. I checked only main playback device. Set APO at SFX/EFX.

Im so happy becouse i have 5.1 speakers in my room and now i'm still able to copy L/R channels to my RL/RR chanels and i have rich stereo in my room :)

I hope this will help other users :D Give Your feedback here! :D :D

Great! So Norton antivirus prevented the Configurator to change the relevant audio device keys for rerouting the audio stream through its audio engine.

Btw. I see you wanted an upmix. That's one flip of a switch on the Effects panel of the Peace equalizer interface for Equalizer APO.

Yeah! Peter - big thx for Your help. If u weren't backing me up in solving that problem, i would probably give up faster ;)
