Hi, I've installed Equalizer APO a few different times and each time I have had a problem when using Spotify. Any song I'm listening to starts freezing about halfway through the song and sometimes skips the song entirely, or stops playing. This only happens while I have Equalizer APO installed. Does anyone else have similar problems?

I don't know of such issues but I know there have been issues reported here on this forum.
Have you tried to set a troubleshooting option already? Perhaps that might remove the freezing.

I am having exactly the same issue on a win 10 machine, using an external dac. As it stands, I cannot use APO with spotify. With APO on, spotify wont play any tracks and just skips to the next continuously.

To test this, I just reinstalled both APO and the PC equalizer GUI. Now both Spotify and the spotify webplayer run normally again with the equalizer enabled.
However, the last time I ran into issues, it was also after a while and not immediately after installing APO.
Im going to update this thread if the issue returns.

It sounds like Equalizer APO might be conflicting with Spotify's audio playback system, leading to freezing or skipping. You can try disabling specific Equalizer APO settings or reinstalling Spotify after removing the EQ software to see if it resolves the issue. Alternatively, some users find using Spotify++ on iOS helpful for improved customization and smoother playback. It’s worth exploring if you’re looking for enhanced control without additional software conflicts.
Thanks a lot!!

Does this happen in both Spotify in the browser and in the app?
