Hi
I've just created a secondary Windows partition (dual boot) because my old one was getting corrupted, and am reinstalling all the necessary stuff. I've installed the latest EQAPO and am trying to get it to behave the way my previous version worked - i.e. a simple Q to boost hi and lo frequencies to compensate for my crap hearing.
But whenever I make any adjustments to the EQ (using configurator or Peace), some kind of compression kicks in and reduces other frequencies (and overall volume) - and if the music suddenly gets loud it's compressed drastically.
All I want to do is boost selected highs and lows without affecting any other frequencies or the overall volume. I'm sure I could do that previously.
Please help - am I being dumb?
Thanks
J,
