if I use a noise remover and an expander the expander always starts first. making the noise louder and making the noise remover less effective.
is there a way to change this?
Could you be more specific? Could you show your config.txt (or screen capture of Configuration Editor).
IIRC, EqualizerAPO processes VST's in same order you place them in Configuration Editor.
Perhaps you can force it by inserting 2 channel commands before the VST's: - channel command - noise remover - channel command - expander
