Hi, so i lately installed Equalizer on my PC, because when i got brand new earphones, i tried to test the stéréo sound, the sounds that should be heard from the right side are being heard on the left side of my earphones and the same thing with the left side, so i followed the steps and i copied the channels in config.txt and should be working but nothing has changed, i ran the troublshooter and it said that APO is already installed, but its maybe because its not supported on Windows 11? Please let me know
You're doing exactly what needs to done to swap the stereo channels so that's alright.
Lately, 24H2 of Windows 11 seems to be give issues. Besides getting my laptop slower I'm fortunate that Equalizer APO still works after this terrible and unstable 24H2 update.
Anyway, the first thing to try for a Bluetooth audio device is to disable the communication part, usually called "Hands-free" or something. Since Windows 10 the 2 Bluetooth devices, which are created by Windows when connecting a Bluetooth device, are combined into 1. But this causes Equalizer APO not to work. Disabling is done on the Windows Sound panel (see screenshot).
Another issue can be that Windows spatial is active. This is nice but it may not work together with Equalizer APO.
Thirdly, the Device Selector of Equalizer APO is pretty able to find a working APO technique (under the "Install as" dropdown box of the troubleshooting options for an audio device in the Device Selector). But it may be that you need to try all "Install as" settings yourself. Such a setting is invoked by clicking on the "Ok" button (closing the Device Selector).
Hi Peter! sorry for the late response.
Well it turns out that i had some uninstalled Windows Updates and I also tried the troubleshooter and installed as SFX/EFX experimental and its working perfectly now! Thank you!

Great to know you've been able to fix.
