EAPO is working. All the basics work, vol, eq, and some VSTs still work. But a set of VSTs all from the same company have recently stopped working all at once. Their GUI opens fine, EAPO even changes the analysis waveform to what it would be if they were working, but the effect is not actually applied to the output. The plugins still work properly in other apps. I've used them in EAPO for a few years with no issues until now.
A common theme I know. I'm not expecting a fix but maybe I'll learn what the likely cause is? I have done the usual stuff of trying all the various config options and checking windows sound effects. The only config that actually works is the recommended LFX/GFX with pre and post installed, but like I said, most of it's still working fine. I'm not aware of the exact date they stopped as these are plugins I use only occasionally.
A trace log is attached which shows where I loaded EAPO, engaged the reverb plugin, disengaged it, then closed. I've included the config text in the second half of that file. "Library ??? could not be loaded".
(If anyone wonders my use of these effects is for adjusting bad audio from streams and youtube for things like too much bass, left channel only etc.)
There are a few areas where things might have changed in the week they died. I'm on a laptop with a Scarlett 4i4 usb interface that's stable and not recently changed. AMD Armoury Crate updates their own noise cancelling software, and Asus updating the actual Realtek drivers.
The Realtek drivers haven't changed in months.
The noise cancelling app updated around the time it stopped ( I really doubt that is an issue as that's a seperate device not even in EAPO config - I don't use it but it's there and I don't know what it changes in the backgorund).
There was a windows update around that time.
And there were updates for all of the plugins that stopped working. This I suspect to be the most likely cause but I'm no expert. Brand is Softube and I use reverb, compressors and a guitat amp suite for the noisegate plugin (works great haha). They are not very good at providing details when I ask about changelogs and so on.
With all that in mind can somebody point out what the likely change is that caused this? I'd like to be aware so I can anticipate it in the future once I finally get it going again. Which I'm guessing is after one of those areas gets another program update.
A good suggestion. Sadly the same result. I just tried some from a backup done in Febuary.
I briefly considered restoring to that image for the whole system to experiment with selective manual updates to see what caused it but that's a bit too much work I think.

Thanks for the help and expertise.
I believe this is the case.
If possible you could try by copying those old versions of plug-in .dll files to some other location and open them from there in EqualizerAPO.
