Hello , so I try every method that I see on internet and Equalizer still doesn't open / work .
I try to Install SFX /EFX and my sound doesn't work so I need to go back to LFX/GFX.
I try to clean up the corrupted registry and still nothing and I use Realtek .
I try it to fix for almost 2 days and even Peace doesn't even work.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Although I don't know what the error "Error in CoCreateInstance for child apo" really means, I've seen post saying that unchecking the "Original APO" checkbox or checkboxes might help. And when I'm browsing the Equalizer APO program code I do see one thing that isn't alright. A child APO should have a GUID (an identification number) but on your Realtek device it doesn't have it. This suggests that the Realtek audio driver isn't properly installed or has a bug.
The error "Error while reading configuration file C:\Program Files\EqualizerAPO\config\config.txt: The system cannot find the file specified." is an odd one. It might suggest one of the following:
1. Equalizer APO doesn't have enough rights to write in the config.txt file
2. Equalizer APO is sandboxed during its installation so instead of installed into c:\program files\equalizerapo it's installed somewhere else.
3. Equalizer APO isn't installed correctly
4. or Equalizer APO doesn't have enough system rights like administrator.
Unfortunately this is all I can see as I'm not an expert.

And I guess you also tried this.
Perhaps you can attach the trace log so someone can look at it (as I'm not an expert on it).
What's the audio device, brand and type?
Btw. Usually if Equalizer APO doesn't work, Peace won't either as it gives commands to Equalizer APO's audio processing part.
The audio device is Realtek Audio , and here is the trace log :

Is still doesn't work I give all the permission and I install the new driver for Realtek.
Thank you anyway.
Good luck!
