I have a blue yeti and i usually keep it far away from me to save some space on my desk but i wanted to be a bit louder and clear since the gain on my mic wasnt enough. i installed as sfx and mfx, lfx/gfx etc but none of them work.

I guess after setting one of those options you restarted your computer.
Did the Blue Yeti come with its own software? If so, you could uninstall it and go with a default Windows USB mic device driver. But if you want to use the Blue software you might look at the checkboxes as explain in this Equalizer APO troubleshooting wiki.
Equalizer APO might work if you uncheck either or both of the "Use original APO" checkboxes.
And some apps want exclusive access to the mic. This might bypass Equalizer APO. For this you could uncheck the exclusive mode checkboxes as shown in this PDF for instance.

Okay, that means the mic doesn't have any enhancements. This a good thing as enhancements can get in the way of Equalizer APO. I guess you've also tried SFX/EFX (if available). This is also the one you need to try.
And are the exclusive mode checkboxes unchecked?

Good to rule out both of those options. Just to be sure, does Equalizer APO work on other devices? It's important to know that nothing is preventing Equalizer APO to do its job.

First we need to get Equalizer APO working for the main speakers output before we troubleshoot the Blue Yeti mic. In the Configurator of Equalizer APO does it say "APO already installed" for the main speakers output? Usually Equalizer APO has no issues working on the main speakers except when it's blocked or sandboxed by an antivirus app. I guess you have tried on this output things like pre amplifying or some eq.

Are the Yeti speakers on the 3.5 inch output jacks? By default Equalizer APO is only installed on these outputs. In case of USB or Bluetooth speakers: Go to the Configurator and check the left checkbox for the target device (and restart computer of course).
For Windows 10 the "Install as" dropdown box should be on SFX/EFX or if that isn't available or work on SFX/MFX. For Windows 7 the default GFX/LFX is the right option.

Sorry, I'm not very clear in explaining things. To be sure that Equalizer APO is working on your computer we need to check the basics. So connect speakers/headphones to the 3.5 jacks of your computer (so not to the Yeti) and check if these speakers can be manipulated in the Configuration Editor of Equalizer APO.

That's unfortunate. But it means that Equalizer APO isn't working at all. The question is why. Perhaps you can switch on the trace log. It's part of the troubleshooting wiki of Equalizer APO. I hope we can see something in this log to determine what's going.

Yes they are unchecked and I've already tried SFX/EFX

Nope, it doesn't work on other devices from what I've done.
