the analysis windows in 1.1 version was a great improvement to see (and manually correct) zones were clipping occurs.
In next version it will be great if i can find a button who generate a new grapheq for me who put the red zone to zero. (i say new grapheq because for each channel, i use more the one grapheq to generate the final result so i prefere you don't interacte with them (as see in another discussion, one is to flatten the measure, others is to home curve the results)
an option to export the analysis curve would be nice too (or, if it's link, have the function available in cmdline with benchmark)
another idea to improve the readability is, like in rew, to see the position of the x,y not only with the value but also with an horizontal and vertical lines. it's easier to position the mouse.

Installed 1.1 on Win 10 and have been playing around with it. What a great improvement in usability!
One question for the forum: I have APO in the USB audio output, the only processing being mild parametric EQ. With APO enabled, with some audio sources like Tidal or VLC I get a short, loud buzz when jumping from song to the next in mid-song. If the song ends and next one starts everything is fine. With FooBar2000 this does not happen. Furthermore, I disable all the parametric filters in APO, the buzz is also gone.
Is this some caching issue, and what settings should I try to change?

Could you please check if that also happens with E-APO version 1.0? I made a change to the processing of silent audio in version 1.1 which might have to do with this. If this causes a problem, I will maybe revert the change or try to fix the problem.

tried 1.1 vs. 1.0 on two pc's (Win 7 and 10) and bunch of audio sources (Tidal, VLC, browser players) and indeed with 1.0 the between-songs-buzzer is gone. With 1.1 the duration of the buzz seems to depend on many things, like what else is running on the pc, playback software etc. but it's max half a second or so. And with FooBar2000 I couldn't make the buzz happen at all.
Hope this helps,
Mika

Just joined Sourceforge to report I'm also getting this strange treble noise on audio start and stop within MPC-HC and even Youtube - all while using 1.1, and this noise isn't present on 1.0. Running PCM audio via nVidia HDMI.
Thanks to the EAPO creator though, I love the program and have calibrated all of my audio equipment with it - it's an essential tool.

I could not yet reproduce the problem, unfortunately. Could you (or someone else who has the problem) please attach your configuration file, so that I can try with the same config? And could you try if it also occurs if you use an empty config.txt (so that no processing happens by E-APO)?
If I can not reproduce it I can still fix the problem by reverting the change but if I can I would like to find a better solution.

Hi, I also have the problem desribed by above. In my case, I play videos with MPV media player. The noise always occurs when i pause it. (not present at all on 0.92 and 1.0) It even occurs with empty configuration file and is gone if i completely disable E-APO by checking "Disable all enhancements". E-APO is installed to "Headphone" device. (Analog output). Could this be related to the following fix introduced in version 1.1 ?
Fixed: When the processing caused delay (e.g. via Delay command), the remaining audio was not output when the input signal became silence (e.g. pausing a music player), but only when the silence ended.
Because if i use the "Delay" command with value 1000 (1 sec) and pause the video, the last second of audio will repeat itself, like this : "a b c d (e f g) e f g e f g~".
Note: I'm using Mac mini (Late 2014) with windows 7 64bit sp1.
Thanks,
Eric Wang

Yes, that is the "fix" that is now causing the problems. That you have a repetition of audio when you pause the video is really strange. For me that sounds as if the sound card driver is just repeating the buffer that it thinks is silent (although E-APO switches it from BUFFER_SILENT to BUFFER_VALID) instead of continuing with the processing.

My config.txt only contains one line, the "include: filename.txt" command. I use two .txts for my profiles, one is a multichannel.txt which originated from v0.9 of EAPO, and I have a 31 band preset from v1.0 - both of which cause this feedback type sound. I recorded these audio errors using nVidia Shadowplay so as to upload to Youtube so you could see what's going on, but despite the audio having errors while recording live, the recorded footage plays back without the errors - so Windows is executing the audio correctly in an internal sense, but doesn't actually play the audio correctly. This feedback noise is even present when browsing through Windows Explorer whenever you'd normally hear folders opening with Windows' standard click sound. If I leave it a moment, then start browsing again, normal audio will resume for less than a second then immediately go into feedback / overdrive type sound, sometimes followed by a pop. As soon as I disable the include line in the config.txt then everyworks properly again without any errors at all.

Absolutely, will do, and will let you know.

Here is my config in all its simplicity:
Filter: ON PK Fc 123.89 Hz Gain -4.8 dB Q 6.2067
Filter: ON PK Fc 230.69 Hz Gain -5.1 dB Q 5
Filter: ON PK Fc 50 Hz Gain 2 dB Q 2
As soon as I switch each filter off one by one (instant mode), the v.1.1 short buzz is gone.

I just released version 1.1.1, which should hopefully fix the problem. Please report soon if you still have the problem after updating.
I had also the problem, mentioned by others, in version 1.1 . The version 1.1.1. has fixed it.
Just updated to 1.1.1. and so far the problem has not happened - so thank you for the fix!
