APO equalizer not working with Voicemeeter when using AB13X Audio (USB from MB and AMD GPU)

All was well until I switched ports from speakers from MB to AMD USB C or MB USB C. Using Bose QC25 (2.5 mm converter to USB C)
APO doesn't work unless I close Voicemeeter and changed to speakers (AB13XAudio).
What am I'm missing? TIA

Are you using the virtual audio device of VoiceMeeter? This is basically the way VoiceMeeter works. For manipulating their audio you need to select the proper virtual device (A1 to A5) in Equalizer APO. Are you using its Configuration Editor or the Peace equalizer interface?

Hi Peter, thank you!
I uninstalled VM and APO, cleared everything and reinstalled as indicated by instructions. Used all defaults and then installed APO, configured A1 to SFX and now it works! I'll test all is good with AMD GPU and what the difference in quality might be with the MB's output.
