Is this possible?

I am not happy with the automatic eq that my AV receiver generates. What I would like to do is define a filter set that duplicates the parametric controls on my receiver, import the in-room response from REW, have EQ APO generate the required settings to match my house curve, and then manually transfer those settings to the receiver EQ.

What this would require is the ability to designate center frequency, max gain/cut, and max Q for each filter and then let EQ APO work using those predefined limits. When I create a filter, for example, if I enter 10 for gain, and 5 for Q, does EQ APO then know to use +-10 for possible gain/cut range and 0-5 for possible Q values?

Never mind, I found the answer. I wasn't familiar with what each app does so I was asking in the wrong spot. All EQ APO is doing is applying the filters where needed. After looking through the EQ section in REW I was able to connect the dots.

What I need to do is select an EQ in REW that uses filter types that match my receiver, run a sweep, and then modify the filter parameters to match my receiver settings and that will give me the values I'm looking for.
