Hi, so as a discord packer/roaster, loudmicing (aka screaming into your mic), is a common thing used. I had been using Equilizer for a little while now but it has no effect in discord. I use a gaming headset so i was wondering if i need an actual mic. when i open the configuration editor, i set my preamplification to 90-100 dB. please let me know if you can do anything to help. Thanks

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
So Equalizer APO isn't working on Discord? That may be caused be several things. The most common is that the mic is used in exclusive mode by Discord. This means that the audio stream of the mic won't go through the audio engine of Equalizer APO. In this case uncheck both exclusive checkboxes. For an example I've included an image of the advanced tab of the audio panel showing the exclusive checkboxes of my speakers.
If the above doesn't work you might try SFX/EFX then SFX/MFX of the "Install as" dropdown box of the troubleshooting options of the mic:
Configurator -> Capture tab -> Click on mic name in Connector column at the left -> Check Troubleshooting options -> Select SFX/EFX or SFX/MFX.
