EQ works perfectly with my bluetooth headphones (in bluetooth wireless) but does not work with my speakers.
For what its worth, when I connect my headphones to the desktop with a 3.5mm cable, it is recognized as "speakers", same story if I connect my amp to my desktop.

Am I doing something wrong? Why is my headphones recognized as speakers / only follow speakers. Same story with amp connection.

  Attaching some screen captures (showing described issues) and EqualizerAPO config file(s) would be helpful.
  
  EqualizerAPO works only on devices you install APO features. Have you enabled APOs for the device driving speakers (can be done through Configurator utility)?
  
  It is Windows which detects your USB/BT/etc. devices when plugged ... that might not be a EqualizerAPO related matter.
