Hi I've been trying to get EqualizerAPO to work on my Huawei device.
It's got a driver from "Senary" audio (no idea either).
I have an option to enable Audio enhancements, which does indeed change the sound dramatically (has nothing to do with EqualizerAPO).
After installing EqualizerAPO, the plugins such as EQ just don't work. I even tried other programs, FxSound and Boom 3D only partially work (eq doesn't).
I can't for the life of me figure what the issue is, and the log files seem not very helpful, what is the case here?
Running windows 11

And have you tried the troubleshooting options, especially the "Install as" dropdown box? SFX/EFX could do the trick although in some latest Windows updates LFX/GFX may.

I finally got it to work!
I uninstalled everything sound related from Huawei (Huawei histen, Senary audio) then I uninstalled all Senary drivers from device manager. Rebooted my device and had no sound anymore so I waited for windows to do its thing and install the sound drivers. I then installed EqAPO again (this time with the troubleshooting checkbox on) and it works!
Not sure what did it, but I hope this helps someone.

Did you manage enable APOs for this audio device (Configurator)?
Have you tried with native Huawei drivers?

Maybe a default Windows driver was installed which works fine with Equalizer APO?
