Sorry to say but, WindowsXP does not support APOs so, no way to get it working there.
If you don't own other than XP license then you could try Preview version of Windows 10 ... (you need to create an account @ M$ ... Insider site ia @ https://insider.windows.com/ ) ... .

Unfortunately not. From Windows Vista onwards Microsoft has added the Audio Processing Objects architecture (APO). This is needed to be able to get to the audio stream of a device in order to change it.

Can you suggest me some software for windowsxp to fix the audio? because my sound card does not have an equalizer
