    Hello.
I have another japanese win95 game(Nonomura Byouin no Hitobito-野々村病院の人々). Whenever I tried to run it in windows XP or follow-up 7-10 circumstance, it always display japanese error message of "failed to read a file MAIN.MES"
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/ohavra1o7klib7i/Nonomura_error.mp4?dl=0
Of course,I have tried every possible means in order to run it in windows 8.1-10 circumstance, But It is totally beyond my capacity..
Below Mega link contains CD image file(I always mount it to D:\ drive) of Nonomura Byouin no Hitobito(nono95.bin,nono95.cue) and nono95.rar contains installed file and installed game folder(c:\nono95)

Mega download link for Nonomura Byouin no Hitobito for win95
I know that It would be almost impossible to fix this problem because It will need reverse engineering and modifing some code in execute file which I heard very terrible hard and very time-consuming work.
But If it is possible to fix this problem purely by means of dxwnd,It would be really amazing.

YESsss!!That's what I want!!! As far as I know,Graphic of pc98 and dos and windows 95 version of Nonomura Byouin no Hitobito is exactly the same, But this win95 version has the unique virtue of voice acting.
By the way,How can you run this game in windows xp or later circumstance?

The same profile "should work" across all the Windows versions.

        YESsss!!That's what I want!!

It isn't perfect, but it's better than nothing. It has the same "black region" issue as the other game. Actually this isn't an issue because the game was designed with it so tampering with it may lead to other problems.

The only problem now is I can'T create a fixed sized window for the game. Because on subsequent runs of the game with a fixed window size, the game screen starts shifting towards right. What you will play with now is a 640x480 screen. If you select "Desktop" in main tab you might get a shifted screen, which is the problem"

I really appreciate you again for your excellent work!
Although It seems to be impossible to switch to fullscreen mode, Playing it in windows mode is sufficient for me.

I have seen some individual programmer in korea who made retro game launcher which is based on dosbox, and Most of korean or japanese programmer of official game developer always said that It is impossible or very very hard to make any patch which make their old game of windows 95-98 era playable in windows 10 circumstance.
I think it is almost impossible for eastern asian programmer to catch up to the programming level of you.

Once gho fixes the scaling issues of both tbe A15WIN games, it should be possible to fullscreen it.

DxWnd was actually started by a Japanese developer, named SFB7, when it was more a windowing program (that's why DxWnd by default windows a program rather than run in fullscreen). Maybe it's language barrier, or the fact that it's difficult to get the original hardware in east asia. In recent times most such developments are already in place so they don't jump into such things. In India there is a massive scope and dedication for such things but the lack of required resources and support prevent it.

gho is Italian, I am Indian and huh2 is apparently Czech (I am noy aware of dippy-diper's nationality) so it's more a teamwork.

Ten years ago, I used DxWnd for the first time. Because There is very little japanese windows 98 game which supports windows mode in gameplay.
I frequently have to look up in a dictionary the meaning of japanese word which I didin't know at that time. So enabling windows mode was a great need for me.

I heard that India people, especially who specializes in a field of computer science, has very high level of programming skill,It seems that this saying is the complete truth.

I'm native korean.and I have lived south korea more than 36 years. But It seems that there is lousy retro community where don't have any talented programmer like you.

To be honest, the initial core od DxWnd was signed SFB7, a guy that never revealed himself, nor claimed the ownership. By looking at the captions and comments, I figured that he/she was Japanese, but all along these almost 20 years of development I never got any sign about he/she.
And I'm pretty sure there is plenty of talentful people in Korea, I judge by the level of some Korean game productions.

Have you tried to set the "Main / Position" selector to "Desktop"? This should display the game in a fake-fullscreen mode. Of course you can also use all other video modes with scaled size and position. The DxWnd help tutorial shows how to.

Yes that's the issue..the game keeps shifting to the right, in any fixed resolution mode.

    @sang heon
This is my very imperfect profile derived from @BEEN_Nath_58. It works in 1 out of 5 attempts in my Win7.
Of course, you can try moving the right edge to the left to customize the image, but the window will be smaller. The game acts like it's trying to set a slightly different resolution every time you run it. Well, that's all I have for today from me.
