@crazyc AddSharedDirPath should already does this if the quicktime files are placed in dxwnd\shared. No, that doesn't work. I moved the files I mentioned earlier there, but the game can't see them. For this game, it's also a good idea to enable “remap system folders” because new QTW.INI and win.ini files were created there.

Well, I'm having a curious problem with this Exit button. Everything works except for this button. Pressing Esc brings up the Exit dialog, yes it works. It doesn't work for me with the mouse. I'll try it with DxWnd later.

@gho Trying to test the unused wrapper for the FloodFill functions I tried a child paint program, " Crazy Paint - Animaniacs On Location" (1998) (see Internet Archive) but the installer doesn't work throwing this error: I didn't have any installation issues related to localization in my VirtualXP. I also ran setup.exe in Windows 7 and didn't get any error messages. Although virustotal.com claims that setup.exe is 16-bit (some sources state it is NE 16-bit), for some unknown reason this executable...

Well, I had the idea to move all the .qtc files to a fake Windows\System32 folder (cvid32.qtc, dci32.qtc, dhio32.qtc, iv32qt32.qtc, jpeg32.qtc, mc32.qtc, navg32.qtc, QTIV32.QTC, QTVRW32.QTC, raw32.qtc, rle32.qtc, rpza32.qtc, smc32.qtc) and also mciqtenu.q32. In the second phase I also tried moving the QT .dll files to the alt.dll folder.

@gho I believe that something like codecs is included in the QTC files. If your problem is related to FFDShow, the only containers that come to mind are MOV and MPG (most likely the former). Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to extract any videos from TDTWB2.MPX. P.S. If I remember correctly, I tried using .QTC files with the “remap system folder” option, but the game didn't find them, I guess that feature isn't implemented yet? The same thing happened with the QT .dll and hook:ReplaceDirectXDLLs, but...
