as i know, its only a compilation problem... debian and others
install separate header packages only for this case...
the kernel developers write very nice notes about using direct the
kernel includes...
i would tag the 2.6 as testing, and write a big compile note when
compiling with 2.6 and using the 2.4 includes...
function old_kernel_includes () {
OLDINCLUDEDIR=$(find_src_dir 2.4.21-include)
if [ "CONFIG_KERNEL_VERSION" == "2.6" ]; then
echo "HEY DUDE, PLEASE NOTE ..... YOU COMPILE FOR KERNEL 2.6"
echo "AND USE OLD INCLUDES FROM 2.4 BECAUSE THE PACKAGE ISNT"
echo "COMPILE-READY FOR 2.6"
fi
ln -nsf $OLDINCLUDEDIR/linux /usr/include/linux || exit 1
ln -nsf $OLDINCLUDEDIR/asm-i386 /usr/include/asm || exit 1
ln -nsf $OLDINCLUDEDIR/asm-generic /usr/include/asm-generic ||
exit 1
}
but perhaps, the new openh323 release is already prepared ???

Hi, I'm currently coding the option to preselect the boot options (I prefer 1024x768, not text) and adding user-defined options to the boot loader. In the /build/scripts/build-iso script, there is this passage which writes the loader configs and the first two entries read (that's line 250) prompt 1 label 0 kernel /boot/vmlinuz append root=/dev/ram0 initrd=/boot/initrd.gz init=/linuxrc ramdisk=8096 label 1 kernel /boot/vmlinuz append root=/dev/ram0 initrd=/boot/initrd.gz init=/linuxrc ramdisk_blocksize=4096 vga=769 the other labels look like "label 1". Shouldn't this read all the same except for the vga option? Is ramdisk_blocksize an error (should be ramdisk)? And I guess 8096 should read 4096... thanks, Roland -- ICQ UIN 49339118 Linux Counter #88774 GPG-Key 1024D/59C6AFA6 2003-02-07 Roland Pabel <ro...@pa...> |

I am going to fix the patches and rewrite them against 1.1.x, but I don't have much time to do it at the moment, so don't expect the new version before a few days at least. -- Arnaud |

I have reworked your patch for 1.1.x. Can you please test it
since I have no IPv6 network up and running.
PS: Please create a sample config file ifcfg-eth5.sample where you
add the IPv6 stuff and don't forget to add enought comments. THX.

This email is to inform you about the release of version '1.130' of 'Webmin' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/webmin/ The changes in this release are as follows: This version adds a Log File Rotation module, for configuring logrotate, adds the ability to compress MySQL and PostgreSQL backups, and includes the beginings of a new ui-lib.pl library for generating common Webmin UI elements. The Disk Quotas module can now display in kilobytes instead of blocks, on systems when the block size is known. There is better MD5 encryption handling in the Users and Groups module, including support for FreeBSD. The Users and Groups module now works out UIDs and GIDs at creation time, rather than when the new user or group for is displayed. Project description: Webmin is a web-based interface for system administration for Unix. Using any browser that supports tables and forms, you can setup user accounts, internet services, DNS, file sharing and so on.
