no, they do, i checked. there was a posting about this on the dmod-dev ML, and it turns out that you can put them in sub dirs, so long as the scriptnam + dirname isn't too long for the dialogue box in dinkedit. it works with the well... > The scripts won't work if they're in subdirs you know... > All have to be in "<dmod>\story" to work. > > -Phoenix > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek > Welcome to geek heaven. > http://thinkgeek.com/sf > _______________________________________________ > Ddmodd-developers mailing list > Ddm...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/ddmodd-developers -- DOS: n., A small annoying boot virus that causes random spontaneous system crashes, usually just before saving a massive project. ok, i did a bit of a map update recently, and started adding the gardens. Ive found a new approach to this, which basically involved me realising that theres no point in waiting for the new graphics to come out, and its better to just do the stuff i can do now, even if i have to replace it later. anyway, where was i...oh yeah, i added the gardens. so far as i know there are no hardness bugs, but there ARE screen match bugs. i am aware of them, and i will fix them next time i do an update. i also added a well, and decided that throughout the game we should have wells which refill the players life force, if they have been damaged. to this end i wrote a script, and put it in story\struct. i need some scripts made: duck: ok, this si fro the duck. should make it walk around, and ocaisonally pause. should also make it quack sometimes. when hit, the head shoudl fly off, and should run around without the kneck. you could probably use the original dinks scripts, but remember that this is open source, so for the time being we need them in uncompiled form. finally, id like all the enemy scripts to be in a sub directory called "enem", all the building and structure scripts to go in "struct", screen scripts to go in "screen", and geberally to break up the story dir. some of these dirs will have to be made... how about: <dirname> <contents> struct wells, fountains, trees, other building objects. ppl NPC's, friendly ones enem NPC's, enemies. screen screen scripts, should be named after the screen number they are attached to cant tgink of any more.... -- Thomi Richards th...@im... http://ddmodd.sourceforge.net/ Thomi Richards, th...@im... |
