I'd love to be able to focus more on this project, but it's just not possible at this time given my current situation.... read more

Conky Released

Hey Folks,

It seems there was a pretty serious bug in 1.7.1 that caused rendering of
fonts to be completely messed up in specific circumstances. To deal with
this, I've released which includes a fix (along with a couple
other minor fixes. Not sure why this slipped past my testing, but I'll
try to be more diligent in the future (maybe someone can write some Conky
unit tests? :) ).

Moving from SVN to Git

Hey Folks,

I have moved the Conky repository from SVN to Git. There are several reasons why this is a good idea, and it's a trendy thing to do.

You can post patches on the tracker (which is probably a good way to ensure I don't forget about it). If you email patches to me there is a good chance I will forget about them. For the record, here is a link to the sourceforge tracker (for patches):... read more

Conky pre-releases now available

I have decided to start doing pre-release Conky packages to try and improve Conky's release quality. The packages will represent current subversion snapshots at the time of packaging. These will be available from sourceforge ( ). Please test these and report problems, but don't expect them to work perfectly. I will not spend much time testing these, but rather I will try to make a new one every time there are changes to Conky which need to be tested. I look forward to receiving some feedback.... read more
