Can anybody tell me WHY in this page: http://www.l-i-e.com/css/mailto.php.htm The TEXTAREA is having all these #xxx_xxx_form styles applied, while the INPUTs are not? At least, according to firebug, it is. And, in Firefox, it is being styled as #profile_password_form, which is only 300 wide and has margin-left of 380, which is just totally not what I wanted... NONE of the styles should be applied from an ID that's not even in the whole page! And if it IS going to apply them, at least be consistent with INPUT and TEXTAREA and apply the same rules! Grrrrr. CSS seems so damn random! -- Some people have a "gift" link here. Know what I want? I want you to buy a CD from some indie artist. http://cdbaby.com/browse/from/lynch Yeah, I get a buck. So? |

Right then, tonight's ChiPHP meeting will be at: Palantir.net 1601 Simpson St. #6 Evanston, IL 60201 The entrance is in the back of the building. There's parking across the street, or ample street parking. The closest Metra station is the Davis station. There's a Purple Line CTA stop (also Davis) around the corner from the Metra station, too, although I believe the Noyes Purple Line station is a bit closer walking-wise. Google has further directions. :-) If you get really lost, call the office at 847-328-7150. As usual I suppose we'll aim to start ~6, and really start 6:30ish. I am currently researching means for developing virtual meetings. If the discussion topic for todays' meeting is still open, I would greatly appreciate exploring the concept of virtual meetings. And if we could somehow incorporate a "beginner's break" segment within the discussion, that would be a perfect world for me. (For those of you who don't know me, I am very much a beginner with programming.) If anyone is familiar with WebEx (www.webex.com), that's the sort of environment that I'm looking to develop without the corporate expensed that they charge. Below is a list of names--that I've come across--related to Virtual Meetings. Any feedback is welcome. Ah well. For reference, Palantir.net (my employer) is willing to host meetings if needed. We're currently located in Evanston with easy parking and about .7 miles from CTA Purple Line or 1 mile from Metra.
