    Feign

Make writing Java http clients easier

Feign is a Java to HTTP client binder that was built primarily to make writing Java http clients easier. Inspired by previous projects Retrofit, JAXRS-2.0 and WebSocket, Feign was designed to reduce the complexity that is often involved in binding the Denominator uniformly to HTTP APIs, no matter the ReSTfulness. Feign works by processing annotations into a templatized request, to which arguments are applied in a straightforward manner before output. While it may only support text-based APIs, it simplifies system aspects dramatically and makes it much easier to unit test your conversions. Feign makes use of great tools like Jersey and CXF for writing Java clients for ReST or SOAP services. It also lets you write your own code on top of http libraries, and connects your code to http APIs with little overhead.

    LWJGL

    LWJGL

Java library that enables cross-platform access to popular native APIs

LWJGL is a Java library that enables cross-platform access to popular native APIs useful in the development of graphics (OpenGL, Vulkan), audio (OpenAL) and parallel computing (OpenCL) applications. This access is direct and high-performance, yet also wrapped in a type-safe and user-friendly layer, appropriate for the Java ecosystem. LWJGL is an enabling technology and provides low-level access. It is not a framework and does not provide higher-level utilities than what the native libraries expose. As such, novice programmers are encouraged to try one of the frameworks or game engines that make use of LWJGL, before working directly with the library.

    QR Code generator library

    QR Code generator library

High-quality QR Code generator library in Java, TypeScript/JavaScript

This project aims to be the best, clearest library for generating QR Codes. My primary goals are flexible options and absolute correctness. The secondary goals are compact implementation size and good documentation comments. This work is an independent implementation based on reading the official ISO specification documents. I believe that my library has a more intuitive API and shorter code length than competing libraries out there. The library is designed first in Java and then ported to TypeScript, Python, Rust, C++, and C. It is open source under the MIT License. For each language, the codebase is roughly 1000 lines of code and has no dependencies other than the respective language’s standard library.

    S3Proxy

    S3Proxy

S3Proxy implements the S3 API and proxies requests

S3Proxy implements the S3 API and proxies requests, enabling several use cases. Translation from S3 to Backblaze B2, EMC Atmos, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and OpenStack Swift. Testing without Amazon by using the local filesystem. Extension via middleware. Embedding into Java applications. Docker Hub hosts a Docker image and has instructions on how to run it. Users can download releases from GitHub. Developers can build the project by running mvn package which produces a binary at target/s3proxy. S3Proxy requires Java 8 or newer to run. Configure S3Proxy via a properties file. An example using the local file system as the storage backend with anonymous access. S3Proxy can be configured to assign buckets to different backends with the same credentials. In addition to the explicit names, glob syntax can be used to configure many buckets for a given backend.

    XTDB

    XTDB

General-purpose bitemporal database for SQL, Datalog & graph queries

XTDB is a general-purpose bitemporal database for SQL, Datalog & graph queries. XTDB contains a perfect, immutable record of every fact your system has ever known. See the entire history of your business, everywhere. Immutable records are incomplete without time-traveling queries. XTDB allows you to query the entire timeline. Make retroactive corrections, simplify data migrations, and get clarity on out-of-order events. It is the interconnection of facts that makes them valuable. Query the relational model with SQL and the graph model with Datalog, over the same data. Explore all your data. Across all implicit relationships, across all time. As a document-oriented database, XTDB makes your data immediately available without the need for an upfront schema. Both structured and unstructured data are at home in XTDB. Legal regulations like GDPR often pose a challenge when designing systems around immutable data.

    google-java-format

    google-java-format

Reformats Java source code to comply with Google Java Style

google-java-format is a program that reformats Java source code to comply with Google Java Style. The formatter can act on whole files, on limited lines, on specific offsets, passing through to standard-out (default) or altered in-place. There is no configurability as to the formatter's algorithm for formatting. This is a deliberate design decision to unify our code formatting on a single format. The formatter can be used in software that generates java to output more legible java code. Just include the library in your maven/gradle/etc. configuration. A google-java-format IntelliJ plugin is available from the plugin repository. To install it, go to your IDE's settings and select the Plugins category. Click the Marketplace tab, search for the google-java-format plugin, and click the Install button.

    jsoup

    jsoup

Java library for working with real-world HTML

jsoup is a Java library for working with real-world HTML. It provides a very convenient API for fetching URLs and extracting and manipulating data, using the best of HTML5 DOM methods and CSS selectors. jsoup implements the WHATWG HTML5 specification, and parses HTML to the same DOM as modern browsers do. jsoup is designed to deal with all varieties of HTML found in the wild; from pristine and validating, to invalid tag-soup; jsoup will create a sensible parse tree. The parser will make every attempt to create a clean parse from the HTML you provide, regardless of whether the HTML is well-formed or not. You have HTML in a Java String, and you want to parse that HTML to get at its contents, or to make sure it's well formed, or to modify it. The String may have come from user input, a file, or from the web.

    signal-cli

    signal-cli

signal-cli provides a commandline, dbus and JSON-RPC interface

signal-cli is a command line interface for the Signal messenger. It supports registering, verifying, sending and receiving messages. signal-cli uses a patched libsignal-service-java, extracted from the Signal-Android source code. For registering you need a phone number where you can receive SMS or incoming calls. signal-cli is primarily intended to be used on servers to notify admins of important events. For this use-case, it has a daemon mode with D-BUS interface (man page) and JSON-RPC interface (documentation). For the JSON-RPC interface, there's also a simple example client, written in Rust.
