MinGW: A native Windows port of the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC), with freely distributable import libraries and header files for building native Windows applications; includes extensions to the MSVC runtime to support C99 functionality. All of MinGW's software will execute on the 64bit Windows platforms.

Sourceforge was the home for open-source versions of the Saxon XSLT 3.0, XQuery 3.1, and XPath 3.1, processor from 1999 until 2022. CLIPS is a forward-chaining rule-based programming language written in C that also provides procedural and object-oriented programming facilities.

SISC is an extensible Java based interpreter of the algorithmic language Scheme. SISC uses modern interpretation techniques, and handily outperforms all existing Java interpreters (often by more than an order of magnitude).

JamVM is a new Java Virtual Machine conforming to the JVM specification edition 2 (blue book). It is extremely small - stripped on PowerPC ~110K, Intel 80K. However, unlike other small VMs it supports the full spec, inc. object finalisation and JNI.

Jython is a Java implementation of the Python language. It allows users to compile Python source code to Java byte codes, and run the resulting bytecodes on any Java Virtual Machine. It is the successor to JPython.

Piccolo is the fastest SAX parser for Java, supporting SAX1, SAX2, and JAXP (SAX only). Piccolo is different from other parsers in that it was developed using parser generators. It weighs 160K including XML APIs. See http://piccolo.sf.net for more info.

Tcl/Java consists of two pieces of software. Jacl is an implementation of a Tcl interpreter written entirely in Java. Tcl Blend is a Tcl extension that provides access to Java from inside Tcl. One can prototype Java code using Tcl, and much more.

Jxp is a template engine/script processor that processes scripts containing jsp-like code to produce text output. The script syntax is like jsp (without taglib) except that it is much simpler and can be used outside of webcontainer.
