MinGW: A native Windows port of the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC), with freely distributable import libraries and header files for building native Windows applications; includes extensions to the MSVC runtime to support C99 functionality. All of MinGW's software will execute on the 64bit Windows platforms.

Sourceforge was the home for open-source versions of the Saxon XSLT 3.0, XQuery 3.1, and XPath 3.1, processor from 1999 until 2022. CLIPS is a forward-chaining rule-based programming language written in C that also provides procedural and object-oriented programming facilities.

JamVM is a new Java Virtual Machine conforming to the JVM specification edition 2 (blue book). It is extremely small - stripped on PowerPC ~110K, Intel 80K. However, unlike other small VMs it supports the full spec, inc. object finalisation and JNI.

Jython is a Java implementation of the Python language. It allows users to compile Python source code to Java byte codes, and run the resulting bytecodes on any Java Virtual Machine. It is the successor to JPython.

JPype is an effort to allow python programs full access to java class libraries. This is achieved not through re-implementing Python, as Jython/JPython has done, but rather through interfacing at the native level in both Virtual Machines. JoSQL (Java Objects SQL) provides SQL capabilities for querying, ordering and grouping of collections of Java objects (POJOs). It allows a SQL statement to be applied to the collection of objects and the matching set returned, ordered and grouped.

Yacas is an easy to use, general purpose computer algebra system. It uses its own programming language designed for symbolic as well as arbitrary-precision numerical computations. The system comes with a library of scripts and extensive documentation. Yagy (http://sourceforge.net/p/yagy) provides full yacas experience wrapped in a simple and intuitive graphical interface.

"xmlsh" is derived from the design and goals the unix shell and core commands but with XML expressions and documents added as core features to the shell. xmlsh can be used as a drop-in replacement for scripting xml transformations instead of sh.

SableCC is a parser generator which generates object-oriented frameworks for building compilers, interpreters and other text parsers. SableCC keeps a clean separation between machine and user code which leads to a shorter development cycle.

Jasmin is an interpreter for the x86 assembly language with a full-featured development environment aimed for educational purposes.
