    QMCF2

    QMCF2

    Quantum Mechanical Charge Field - Molecular Dynamics

    QMCF2 is a molecular-simulation package for molecular dynamics, Monte Carlo, geometry optimization, molecular mechanics, and combined quantum-mechanical/molecular-mechanical calculations. The source includes force-field, electrostatics, constraints, thermostats, pressure control, water models, QMCF/QM-MM, external-QM interfaces, conversion tools, and analysis utilities. Interfaces are available for xTB, DFTB+, Gaussian, Turbomole, CRYSTAL, and ASE-based workflows. External programs must be installed separately. Installation: open the Code tab and download or clone the complete repository. On Linux, open a terminal in `qmcf2_installer` and run: `python3 qmcf2_installer.py3` Review the detected compilers, libraries, paths, and warnings, then start the build. The manual is located at `qmcf2_html/qmcf2_doc/manual/qmcf2_manual.pdf`. QMCF2 is research software under active development. Validate calculations on small reference systems before production use. Licensed under GPL3.

    SIMtoEXP

    For comparison of simulation and experimental scattering data

    SIMulation to EXPeriment is software that allows the direct comparison of simulation density information with that obtained from X-ray and neutron scattering experiments, by converting the simulation data to form factors. It also calculates volume probability distributions according to a space filling volumetric model. Written in C++ and Qt, SIMtoEXP has a very simple and easy to use GUI with interactive plotting. The software was originally developed by Norbert Kucerka. The code has been tested on OpenSUSE and Ubuntu (both binary and compilation); Windows and Mac are not officially supported, see the 'Notes' in the tar. PLEASE READ THE WIKI FOR THE MOST UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION - there have been major bug fixes recently.

    The FMI++ Library

    The FMI++ Library

    A High-level Utility Package for FMI-based Software Development

    The Functional Mock-up Interface (FMI) specification intentionally provides only the most essential and fundamental functionalities in the form of a C interface. On the one hand, this increases flexibility in use and portability to virtually any platform. On the other hand, such a low-level approach implies several prerequisites a simulation tool has to fulfill in order to be able to utilize such an FMI component. The FMI++ library addresses this problem for models and tools with interfaces according to the FMI specification by providing high-level functionalities, which ease the handling and manipulation of such models and tools. Furthermore, the FMI++ library provides utilities to implement FMI-compliant interfaces for a large class of simulation tools. The FMI++ library intends to bridge the gap between the basic FMI specifications and the typical requirements of simulation tools. It is distributed using a BSD-like license.
