SystemC Network Simulation Library (SCNSL) is an extension of SystemC to allow modelling packet-based networks such as wireless networks, ethernet, fieldbus, etc. As done by basic SystemC for signals on the bus, SCNSL provides primitives to model packet trasmission, reception, contention on the channel and wireless path loss. The use of SCNSL allows the easy and complete modelling of distributed applications of networked embedded systems such as wireless sensor networks, routers, and distributed plant controllers. SCNSL has migrated: please go to GitLab for the latest version: https://gitlab.com/open-kappa/scnsl

The Systems Biology Format Converter (SBFC) is a Java generic framework aiming to translate any systems biology model format into another. The SBFC Web Site providing detailed feature description and instructions for installing, using and developing new modules is: http://sbfc.sourceforge.net/ . Currently, SBFC allows the user to convert SBML models into the formats: BioPax, Matlab, Octave, XPP, DOT, and SBGN. Due to its modular design fast development and addition of new converters is highly facilitated. SBFC can be executed in two modes: 1. standalone executable downloading the package provided in this website; 2. web-service at http://www.ebi.ac.uk/biomodels/tools/converters . For general discussion about SBFC, please use the forum sbfc-forum@googlegroups.com . A mailing-list is also available for developers: sbfc-devel@googlegroups.com Thanks for using SBFC! The SBFC Team

    BEAST

    BEAST

BEAST is a tool dedicated to assess political goals of woody bioenergy

The BioEnergy Allocation and Simulation Tool (BEAST) is a tool dedicated to assess political goals of woody bioenergy production in the context of available biomass potentials and corresponding economic and ecological criteria on a regional level. It is a useful tool in participative decision making processes by iterative simulation and visualization of complex issues. BEAST is a data- and model-driven Decision Support System (DSS) evaluating woody biomass potentials from forests, hedges and trees outside forests as well as short rotation coppice (SRC). The latter one is modelled spatially explicit. This opens the possibility to identify prefered areas for SRC production under different restrictions and goals. Forest wood and wood from outside forests are treated only aggregated.

    CASUP

    CASUP

Cellular Automata library for SUPercomputers (CASUP)

CASUP is a Cellular Automata (CA) library for HPC and supercomputers. It can be used in materials science (microstructure evolution, grain coarsening, fracture etc.), physics (Ising magnetisation) and for many other CA. If you use the library, please reference it as: A. Shterenlikht, L. Margetts, Three-dimensional cellular automata modelling of cleavage propagation across crystal boundaries in polycrystalline microstructures, Proc. Roy. Soc. A 471:20150039, DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.1098/rspa.2015.0039. CASUP can be linked with FE (e.g. MPI FE library ParaFEM, http://parafem.org.uk) for a multi-scale multi-physics CA-FE framework. CASUP extensively uses Fortran 2008 and 2018 coarrays, as well as MPI, OpenMP and do concurrent. CASUP can be used with Cray, Intel and GCC/OpenCoarrays compilers. Scaling beyond 100,000 cores on Cray XC30 was demonstrated.
