rmachine is a register machine simulator (the complexity theory version), programmed in python, complete with a module to be used in your programs and a (PyQt4) GUI.

Robosuite is a modular and extensible simulation framework for robotic manipulation tasks, built on top of MuJoCo. Developed by the ARISE Initiative, Robosuite offers a set of standardized benchmarks and customizable environments designed to advance research in robotic manipulation, control, and imitation learning. It emphasizes realistic simulations and ease of use for both single-task and multi-task learning.

The rp6simul project brings simulation software for the RP6 robot that is manufactured by AREXX engineering. Besides support for all peripherals on the robot base, the simulator also fully supports the m32 extension module, and both can be simulated either independently or simultaneously. Furthermore, a simple 2d environment can easily be created to test lighting, collision, motor speeds and so on. The simulator does not run native AVR files, but instead a thin wrapper is provided so that the AVR code can be compiled natively. Thanks to this wrapper, and a flexible Lua driver interface, the simulator emulates most of the IO registers, requiring no or minimal code modifications. rp6simul is primarily developed on Linux, but a Windows version will also be released.

rpCalc is a calculator that uses Reverse Polish Notaion (RPN). It supports both keyboard entry and use of the mouse.

rsim is a simple discrete-event communications network simulator initially developed to test routing protocols for undersea acoustic modem networks. If done well then rsim will eventually be a good replacement for "ns2".

rx2fits is an SDR code for the rx888mk2 direct-sampling receiver that streams spectral data with frequency up to 65 MHz to FITS files. This code is for the direct-sampling input of the receiver, which transmits real samples over USB3 at up to 130 MHz sample rate. rx2fits processes these samples to spectral intensities via a Fourier-transform poly-phase filter bank, which provides spectral resolution approaching the spectral bin width with good stop-band and adjacent-channel rejection. Sample rate, Fourier bin count, PFB frame count, integration time and receiver gain parameters can be set. Utilities for device enumeration, firmware upload, display of FITS header, file viewing, and for measuring sample rate and sample statistics are provided. The device interface is Ruslan Migirow's librx888 and dropped samples at 130 MHz are negligible. Runs on linux computers under .Net.

The complexity of cellular networks is an outstanding challenge for documentation, visualisation and mathematical modelling. In this project, we develop a new way to describe these networks that minimises the combinatorial complexity and allows an automatic visualisation and export of mathematical (ODE/rulebased) models.

The scikits.timeseries python module provides classes and functions for manipulating, reporting, and plotting time series of various frequencies. The focus is on convenient data access while leveraging the existing functionality in numpy.

Scipion is an image processing framework to obtain 3D models of macromolecular complexes using Electron Microscopy (3DEM). It integrates several software packages and presents an unified interface for both biologists and developers. Scipion allows to execute workflows combining different software tools, while taking care of formats and conversions. Additionally, all steps are tracked and can be reproduced later on. Xmipp is a well-known package in the EM image processing. It is integrated into Scipion and contains the algorithms in the core libraries and command line programs.

This project aims to be a easy-to-use toolkit of algorithms and utilities for semantic data mining. So far all algorithms are implemented as web services and we provide widgets for their use in the Orange4WS data mining platform.

sfunctioner is a GUI wizard written in PyQt for creating Matlab Simulink sfunctions quickly and efficiently. It helps creating a fully functional sfunction within a few minutes.

sidmon is a python program for receiving and recording submarine-transmitter signal intensities and directions in the VLF frequency range using a computer sound card. The intensities of these signals reflect the ability of radio waves at those wavelengths to propagate in what is essentially a waveguide formed by the earth and the ionosphere above it. Fluctuations in those signal intensities and directions often reflect daytime perturbations of the ionosphere by solar processes, such as solar flares and coronal mass ejections, making VLF receivers useful tools for probing the sun and the earth's ionosphere. This package is a VLF receiver for monitoring VLF transmitter signals for evidence of transients indicating ionospheric disturbances, usually caused by x-ray bursts from the sun. It takes sample pairs from dual-channel sound cards and spectrally processes them to Stokes parameters. Data are plotted as time series and in scatter plots.
