...The model is not very complete, but the main intention is to develop a library to be coupled with other models and use the full-mixed model as a testing version. A lot of things can be improved. I will read all the suggestions but I cannot promise that I will include all of them. Every new part of the code will contain the name of the author. If someone contributes improving the capabilities of this model in a substantial way, I will include that person as co-author of the model in the next version release. Optical library using TPSA
This is a library for optical calculations built upon truncated power series algebra implemented in VB.net. It represents optical systems as maps from a starting surface to an ending surface. The surfaces are themselves specified as truncated power series. The maps include path lengths; the library calculates interference as path length differences, and shearing is handled correctly through mixed-form maps. The library includes a rudimentary front end for interpreting a simple language for optical-system specification, a dll, and an optical glass library of commercial glasses. -

Prepare reads for Pyrotagger or QIIME analysis Pyrotagger only accepts sequencing reads that have MID sequences (a.k.a barcodes, tags), and all of them must have the same length. When you have no MIDs, or variable-length MIDs, MID Adjust appends new MIDs or extends existing ones to satisfy Pyrotagger requirements. New features include the ability to generate fake quality scores and to parse and generate QIIME mapping files. -
