Termin (eng. appointment) is essential in Germany, especially in Berlin. Sometimes it is tough to get a termin in public institutions and this bot is a way to automate termin checks and send Telegram notifications, if free termin was found. The code could be also considered as a template for subsequent development. The principle of bot operation is to refresh a webpage with needed appointments periodically [TERMIN_URL] and to recognize the change on it. E.g., the page always contains the phrase "No free appointments" [NO_TERMIN_FOUND_STRING]. Then some free appointments are added to the system, and the phrase "No free appointments" disappears. There is a new phrase (e.g., "List of free appointments" [TERMIN_FOUND_STRING]) instead of the old one. Bot recognizes the change on the webpage and sends Telegram notifications about free appointments.

BORG is a calendar and task tracking system written in Java. The calendar provides a nice month view, month-print, email reminders, popup reminders and to do list. The task tracker tracks issues through various states.

The standard date and time classes prior to Java SE 8 are poor. By tackling this problem head-on, Joda-Time became the de facto standard date and time library for Java prior to Java SE 8. Note that from Java SE 8 onwards, users are asked to migrate to java.time (JSR-310) - a core part of the JDK which replaces this project. The design allows for multiple calendar systems, while still providing a simple API. The “default” calendar is the ISO8601 standard which is used by many other standards. The Gregorian, Julian, Buddhist, Coptic, Ethiopic and Islamic calendar systems are also included. Supporting classes include time zone, duration, format and parsing. Joda-Time provides a quality replacement for the Java date and time classes. Joda-Time is the de facto standard date and time library for Java prior to Java SE 8. Users are now asked to migrate to java.time (JSR-310).

Material DateTime Picker tries to offer you the date and time pickers as shown in the Material Design spec, with an easy themable API. The library uses the code from the Android frameworks as a base and tweaked it to be as close as possible to Material Design example. (Android 4.0 was supported until 3.6.4). The easiest way to add the Material DateTime Picker library to your project is by adding it as a dependency to your build.gradle. You may also add the library as an Android Library to your project. All the library files live in library. The library also uses some Java 8 features, which Android Studio will need to transpile. The library follows the same API as other pickers in the Android framework. The library contains 2 layout versions for each picker. Version 1 is the original layout. It is based on the layout google used in the kitkat and early material design era. And version 2 is based on the guidelines google posted when launching android marshmallow.
