    ACI.dev

    ACI.dev

Open platform connecting AI agents to tools via unified MCP server

ACI is an open source platform designed to enable AI agents to interact with external tools through a unified and structured interface. It focuses on simplifying tool integration by connecting hundreds of pre-built services into agentic environments, allowing developers to avoid building custom API clients and authentication flows for each service. ACI provides intent-aware tool access, meaning agents can dynamically discover and use tools based on context rather than rigid configurations. It supports both direct function calling and a unified Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, offering flexibility in how integrations are exposed to AI systems. ACI also includes multi-tenant authentication and permission controls, ensuring that tool usage is secure and scoped appropriately for different users and agents. Additionally, it is framework-agnostic, making it compatible with various large language model setups and agent architectures.

    AI Engineering from Scratch

    AI Engineering from Scratch

Learn it. Build it. Ship it for others

AI Engineering from Scratch is a comprehensive open-source curriculum designed to teach artificial intelligence by building every component from first principles rather than relying on prebuilt frameworks. The project is structured into more than 20 phases and hundreds of lessons, covering topics that range from foundational mathematics to advanced systems such as large language models, retrieval pipelines, and multi-agent architectures. Each lesson emphasizes hands-on implementation, requiring learners to write core components such as backpropagation, tokenizers, and attention mechanisms themselves before using higher-level tools. The curriculum spans multiple programming languages, including Python, TypeScript, Rust, and Julia, which broadens the learner’s exposure to different ecosystems and performance considerations. It also focuses on producing tangible outputs such as prompts, agents, and reusable systems, allowing learners to build a real portfolio while studying.

    AV1 AVIF

    AV1 AVIF

AV1 Image File Format Specification - ISO-BMFF/HEIF derivative

AV1 AVIF is the official specification and reference design for the AV1 Image File Format (AVIF), defining how AV1-encoded bitstreams are packaged into the HEIF container format (based on ISOBMFF) to produce AVIF files. The project outlines the syntax and semantics required for AVIF compliance, including support for multiple image profiles, color depths, chroma subsampling modes, HDR/WCG, alpha channels, animation/image sequences, and various color-space/bit-depth combinations — making AVIF a versatile, modern image format suitable for both simple photos and advanced imagery needing high fidelity. The specification ensures interoperability across encoders and decoders, providing guidelines so that images created by any compliant AVIF encoder can be reliably decoded by compliant decoders. As adoption grows, AV1 AVIF plays a crucial role in promoting a royalty-free, open, high-efficiency image standard that competes with older formats such as JPEG and newer proprietary ones.

    Active Learning

Framework and examples for active learning with machine learning model

Active Learning is a Python-based research framework developed by Google for experimenting with and benchmarking various active learning algorithms. It provides modular tools for running reproducible experiments across different datasets, sampling strategies, and machine learning models. The system allows researchers to study how models can improve labeling efficiency by selectively querying the most informative data points rather than relying on uniformly sampled training sets. The main experiment runner (run_experiment.py) supports a wide range of configurations, including batch sizes, dataset subsets, model selection, and data preprocessing options. It includes several established active learning strategies such as uncertainty sampling, k-center greedy selection, and bandit-based methods, while also allowing for custom algorithm implementations. The framework integrates with both classical machine learning models (SVM, logistic regression) and neural networks.

    Agent SOP

    Agent SOP

Natural language workflows for AI agents

Agent SOP is a framework that implements structured operational procedures (SOPs) for autonomous agents so that they can carry out complex multi-step tasks reliably and in a defined order. Instead of relying solely on broad language model reasoning, this project enforces explicit step sequences with checkpoints, conditional transitions, and rollback logic, making agent workflows more predictable and auditable. It defines reusable SOP templates that agents can instantiate with context-specific parameters, allowing organizations to codify best practices for customer support, data processing, document workflows, or incident response. The framework supports monitoring and state tracking, so external systems can observe progress, intervene if necessary, and log outcomes for compliance or auditing. Integrations with common messaging and task orchestration systems enable SOP agents to interact with email, ticket queues, and databases as part of their workflows.

    Agent Skills for Context Engineering

    Agent Skills for Context Engineering

A comprehensive collection of Agent Skills for context engineering

Agent Skills for Context Engineering is a curated collection of reusable “agent skills” focused on helping AI agents perform better on long-horizon, multi-step work by managing context deliberately. Rather than being a single application, it packages practical guidance into skill modules that agents can load to improve planning, retrieval, memory usage, and overall reliability in real workflows. The repository emphasizes context engineering as a discipline, covering why agents fail when context gets too large, too noisy, or poorly structured, and how to mitigate those failure modes with repeatable patterns. It is designed to be used across modern agent environments that support skill folders and structured instructions, so teams can standardize how agents operate instead of relying on ad-hoc prompting.

    Agentic Context Engine

    Agentic Context Engine

Make your agents learn from experience

Agentic Context Engine (ACE) is an open-source framework designed to help AI agents improve their performance by learning from their own execution history. Instead of relying solely on model training or fine-tuning, the framework focuses on structured context engineering, allowing agents to accumulate knowledge from past successes and failures during task execution. The system treats context as a dynamic “playbook” that evolves over time through a process of generation, reflection, and curation, enabling agents to refine strategies across repeated tasks. In this workflow, one component generates solutions, another reflects on outcomes, and a third curates useful knowledge so it can be reused in future interactions. This architecture allows agents to gradually build persistent operational memory without requiring additional training datasets or model retraining.

    Agentic RAG for Dummies

    Agentic RAG for Dummies

A modular Agentic RAG built with LangGraph

Agentic RAG for Dummies is an educational repository that demonstrates how to build retrieval-augmented generation systems combined with autonomous AI agents. The project explains the principles behind agentic retrieval pipelines where language models can dynamically decide when to retrieve information, analyze results, and plan further actions. Instead of relying on static retrieval pipelines, the system shows how agents can orchestrate retrieval, reasoning, and tool usage in a more flexible decision loop. The repository provides practical examples and tutorials that guide developers through building agentic RAG systems using modern AI frameworks. These examples illustrate how agents can access knowledge bases, retrieve documents, analyze them, and refine their queries during multi-step reasoning processes. The repository focuses on simplifying complex architectural concepts so that beginners can understand how agentic retrieval systems are constructed.
