...UNIQUE CruxEX 2025 is - as my previous CRUX-remasters - unique in the world. I.e. there is no other CRUX Live System (as far as I know). In any case, not for downloading. The good thing with CruxEX is that it is a live system (which CRUX original isn't) and that you can run CruxEX superfast from RAM. Also that you can install CruxEX to hard drive in about 5 min and then have a ready-to-go CRUX desktop system. You can after that install any (extra) desktop environment you like. -

...if you have old configs it can bring them forward or help do that. it can build a set of kernels (ie, if you have more than one arch). it packages them. and has some good options. end of story it's possible with one commandline to do the round trip , copy to another host , have that host install package, and have the host reboot (maybe not on first try ok ? :) The comparison to script shipped with kernel (circa 2012): 1) gmil works or attempts to work across many releases 2) gmil works harder to make packaged installable result(s) 3) gmil has a smart way to build many kernels at once / at a keypress 4) the scripts/ _can do most of those steps but _don't combine them, leaving maybe allot to read and type. ... -

Pre-configured images of my Raspberry Pi operating systems, used for backup essentially, if they help anyone else, good ! These files just need flashing to the appropiately sized SD card and then booting in your Pi, no install needed. You will need to use the dd command if the SD card is the same size as the image, if larger you can flash the SD card with "Startup Disk Creator" or similar. You should be able to login with root/root and in most Raspbian releases pi/raspberry for username/password and then change the passwords for security as well as creating any new users if you plan on using them. ... -
