It was designed to exercise various physical subsystems of a computer as well as the various operating system kernel interfaces. stress-ng was originally intended to make a machine work hard and trip hardware issues such as thermal overruns as well as operating system bugs that only occur when a system is being thrashed hard. Use stress-ng with caution as some of the tests can make a system run hot on poorly designed hardware and also can cause excessive system thrashing which may be difficult to stop. -

A BSD-based OS project that aims to provide an experience with MacOS
We love macOS, but we’re not a fan of the ever-closing hardware and ecosystem. So we are creating ravynOS, an OS aimed to provide the finesse of macOS with the freedom of FreeBSD. This is a developer preview image that’s mainly intended for helping build the system. We recommend running in a virtual machine, although it should work on any hardware supported by FreeBSD-CURRENT (14.0) with at least 2GB (8GB recommended) RAM. PLEASE NOTE: On 2022-02-14, we decided to abandon the current path of using X11/KDE desktop components and write from scratch a new UI that will align better with our goals. This stepping back will slow the project but ultimately should result in a better outcome. We intend to bring many of the features you’ve come to love from macOS to ravynOS like clean design, global menus, and drag-and-drop installs. All of your FreeBSD ports and apps, Linux apps, and even trivial Darwin & macOS binaries can now run on ravynOS. And we’re actively working on improving it! -

Ammonite is a modern and user-friendly Scala shell. Almond wraps it in a Jupyter kernel, giving you all its features and niceties, including customizable pretty-printing, magic imports, advanced dependency handling, and its API, right from Jupyter. This also makes it easy to copy some code from notebooks to Ammonite scripts, and vice versa. Almond exposes APIs to interact with Jupyter front-ends. Call them from notebooks… or from your own libraries. Several plotting libraries are already available to plot things from notebooks, such as plotly-scala or Vegas. Load the Spark version of your choice, create a Spark session, and start using it from your notebooks. -

Communicate with the Farmduino to send G and F commands and receive sensor and encoder data. Take photos with a USB or Raspberry Pi camera, and upload the photos to the web application. You must use a .img writing tool to write FarmBot OS onto the microSD card. We recommend downloading and installing balenaEtcher for this purpose. -
