Soundflower
System extension that allows applications to pass audio to other apps
Soundflower.xcodeproj is an Xcode 3.1 compatible project. You can download Xcode 3.1 as a part of Apple's developer tools from http://developer.apple.com/. There are two Build Configurations in the project: the Development build configuration builds Soundflower for the architecture of the machine you are using suitable for debugging. The Deployment configuration builds a Universal Binary version suitable for distribution. Both configurations link against the Mac OS 10.4 SDK. In the Soundflower 'Tools' folder there is a Ruby script called 'load.rb' which will copy the built kext into the install location using sudo. This sets the owner and group correctly. When you run the 'build.rb' script it builds the project with Xcode and then runs the 'load.rb' script automatically. -

An iOS and macOS audio visualization framework built upon Core Audio useful for anyone doing real-time, low-latency audio processing and visualizations. I've designed six audio components and two interface components to allow you to immediately get your hands dirty recording, playing, and visualizing audio data. These components simply plug into each other and build on top of the high-performance, low-latency AudioUnits API and give you an easy to use API written in Objective-C instead of pure C. EZAudio was designed to work transparently across all iOS and OSX devices. This means one universal API whether you're building for Mac or iOS. For instance, under the hood an EZAudioPlot knows that it will subclass a UIView for iOS or an NSView for OSX and the EZMicrophone knows to build on top of the RemoteIO AudioUnit for iOS, but defaults to the system defaults for input and output for OSX. -

SVGKit
Display and interact with SVG Images on iOS/OS X
SVGKit is a Cocoa framework for rendering SVG files natively, it's fast and powerful. SVGKit is an image library, so rather than Unit Tests we have a large set of sample SVG's that we use to check everything is working OK. All the images are included in the "Demo-iOS" app (that comes with SVGKit). If you have many images to add at once (hundreds) then there's a different technique that lets you add an entire folder at once. The preview images are "correct" versions, they show what the image SHOULD look like (with a correct SVG renderer). Open up "Demo-iOS.xcodeproj", and run it (on simulator or device). Try different SVG's. Zoom, pan, and (with the Monkey only:) hit the "Animate" button. Tap the images to see bounding boxes/hit detection (might need you to hit the Debug button first). -
