LaMa is a C++11 software library for robotic localization and mapping developed at the Intelligent Robotics and Systems (IRIS) Laboratory at the University of Aveiro - Portugal. It includes a framework for 3D volumetric grids (for mapping), a localization algorithm based on scan matching, and two SLAM solutions (an Online SLAM and a Particle Filter SLAM). The main feature is efficiency. Low computational effort and low memory usage whenever possible. The minimum viable computer to run our localization and SLAM solutions is a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+. We provide a fast scan-matching approach to mobile robot localization supported by a continuous likelihood field. It can be used to provide accurate localization for robots equipped with a laser and a not-so-good odometry. Nevertheless, good odometry is always recommended. -

It extracts messages from source code, validates messages from translators, and checks that all messages are translated before shipping to production. Use React components inside localized messages without any limitations. Writing rich-text messages is as easy as writing JSX. For AI to do great translations for you, context is critical. Translating UI copy is difficult because it's usually a list of short strings without enough context. Lingui's localization formats allow developers to write descriptions of where and how your keys are used. -

Fluent is a localization system designed to unleash the expressive power of the natural language. This repository contains the specification, the reference implementation of the parser and the documentation for Fluent. FTL is the syntax for describing translation resources in Project Fluent. FTL stands for Fluent Translation List. The syntax/ directory contains the reference implementation of the syntax as a LL(infinity) parser. The spec/ directory contains the formal EBNF grammar, autogenerated from the reference implementation. Software localization has been dominated by an outdated paradigm: translations that map one-to-one to the English copy. The grammar of the source language imposes limits on the expressiveness of the translation. We created Fluent to change this paradigm. Translators should be able to use the entire expressive power of their language without asking developers for permission. In Fluent, translations are asymmetric. -

XIVO
X Inertial-aided Visual Odometry
XIVO is an open-source repository for visual-inertial odometry/mapping. It is a simplified version of Corvis [Jones et al.,Tsotsos et al.], designed for pedagogical purposes, and incorporates odometry (relative motion of the sensor platform), local mapping (pose relative to a reference frame of the oldest visible features), and global mapping (pose relative to a global frame, including loop-closure and global re-localization, this feature, present in Corvis, is not yet incorporated in XIVO). XIVO runs at 140FPS on stored data (here from a RealSense D435i sensor) or on live streams with a latency of around 1-7ms, depending on the hardware. It takes as input video frames from a calibrated camera and inertial measurements from an IMU and outputs a sparse point cloud with attribute features and 6 DOF pose of the camera. It performs auto-calibration of the relative pose between the camera and the IMU as well as the time-stamp alignment. -

After years of operation and the API remaining almost unchanged, today we announce the complete re-launch of freegeoip into a faster, more advanced and more scalable API service called ipstack. All users that wish to continue using our IP to location service will be required to sign up to obtain a free API access key and perform a few simple changes to their integration. While the new API offers the ability to return data in the same structure as the old freegeoip API, the new API structure offers various options of delivering much more advanced data for IP Addresses.
