    dRehmFlight

    dRehmFlight

Teensy/Arduino flight controller & stabilization for small-scale VTOL

...The project is designed to teach aircraft stabilization and flight-control concepts while remaining easy to modify. Its primary hardware platform uses a Teensy 4.0 microcontroller and an MPU6050 six-axis IMU. Features include receiver input handling, IMU calibration, ESC calibration, motor arming, and customizable control logic. Because the code is easy to edit in the Arduino ecosystem, experimental aircraft behaviors can be added quickly. The project is intended mainly for education and rapid prototyping rather than commercial flight-control deployment.

    SLAM in Autonomous Driving Book

    SLAM in Autonomous Driving Book

    SLAM Technology in Autonomous Driving

SLAM in Autonomous Driving Book is the open-source code companion to the book SLAM in Autonomous Driving. It focuses on localization and mapping systems that combine LiDAR, IMU, GNSS, and vehicle motion data. The material begins with geometry, kinematics, Kalman filtering, inertial navigation, preintegration, and graph optimization. It then implements point-cloud processing, nearest-neighbor structures, ICP, NDT, scan matching, occupancy grids, and loop closure. Readers build both loosely coupled and tightly coupled LiDAR-inertial odometry systems. ...

    Isaac ROS Visual SLAM

    Isaac ROS Visual SLAM

Visual SLAM/odometry package based on NVIDIA-accelerated cuVSLAM

...Isaac ROS Visual SLAM provides a high-performance, best-in-class ROS 2 package for VSLAM (visual simultaneous localization and mapping). This package uses one or more stereo cameras and optionally an IMU to estimate odometry as an input to navigation. It is GPU-accelerated to provide real-time, low-latency results in a robotics application. VSLAM provides an additional odometry source for mobile robots (ground-based) and can be the primary odometry source for drones. VSLAM provides a method for visually estimating the position of a robot relative to its start position, known as VO (visual odometry). ...

    Gait Tracking With x-IMU

    Gait Tracking With x-IMU

Foot tracking algorithm demonstrated in Seb Madgwick's 3D Tracking

This repository provides the source code for a foot-tracking algorithm using an inertial measurement unit (IMU) attached to the foot, as demonstrated in Seb Madgwick’s “3D Tracking with IMU” video (March 2011). The method performs dead reckoning to integrate foot motion and corrects for drift at each foot strike (when the foot touches the ground) to reset error accumulation. The algorithm was part of gait analysis research, estimating foot trajectories in 3D over time. ...

    HoloCubic

    HoloCubic

    Multi-function transparent display desktop station

...The hardware design includes versions of the PCB (Naive version, Ironman version) and 3D model files for the enclosure (3D printed or CNC metal). The software leverages LVGL (a GUI library for microcontrollers) and supports surface touch or IMU-based input. Because it connects via WiFi/Bluetooth, it can fetch live data and display dynamic content, bridging embedded display, network, and interactive gadget design.

    XIVO

    XIVO

    X Inertial-aided Visual Odometry

...XIVO runs at 140FPS on stored data (here from a RealSense D435i sensor) or on live streams with a latency of around 1-7ms, depending on the hardware. It takes as input video frames from a calibrated camera and inertial measurements from an IMU and outputs a sparse point cloud with attribute features and 6 DOF pose of the camera. It performs auto-calibration of the relative pose between the camera and the IMU as well as the time-stamp alignment.

    Relativty

    Relativty

An open source VR headset with SteamVR supports for $200

...Precision and freedom of movement are still very far from dedicated sensors, however, we believe that the model can be trained and improved by orders of magnitude. We designed an affordable motherboard that runs the Relativty Firmware, it is based on the Atmel SAM3X8E ARM Cortex-M3 processor and uses an MPU-6050 as it’s IMU. The naked PCB and the components to solder on, cost in total about 25 dollars.

    Kalibr Allan

    Kalibr Allan

    IMU Allan standard deviation charts

kalibr_allan is a utility repository that provides scripts and tools for calculating IMU noise parameters for use in Kalibr and other IMU filtering systems. While manufacturers typically provide “white noise” values in IMU datasheets, the bias instability and random walk parameters must be determined experimentally. This project enables users to compute those values using Allan variance analysis from recorded IMU data.

    Attitude Estimator

    Attitude Estimator

A C++ implementation of a nonlinear 3D IMU fusion algorithm.

Attitude Estimator is a generic platform-independent C++ library that implements an IMU sensor fusion algorithm. Up to 3-axis gyroscope, accelerometer and magnetometer data can be processed into a full 3D quaternion orientation estimate, with the use of a nonlinear Passive Complementary Filter. The library is targeted at robotic applications, but is by no means limited to this. Features of the estimator include gyro bias estimation, transient quick learning, multiple estimation algorithms, tuneable estimator parameters, and near-global stability backed by theoretical analysis. ...
