It started out as a learning exercise to discover how sslh worked and attempt an implementation in Go. The result is useful in its own right through use of Go's interfaces for protocol matching (making adding new protocols trivial), and lightweight goroutines (instead of forking, which is more CPU intensive under load). -

taprouter is a tool that makes it possible to use SLIRP connectivity over a virtual L2 TAP interface. It allows you to get internet connectivity from within any TAP interface. Memory transactions can safely run in parallel in different threads, are re-executed from the beginning in case of conflicts or if consistent reads cannot be guaranteed, and effects of a transaction are not visible from other threads until it commits.
