    chrome-remote-interface

    chrome-remote-interface

Chrome Debugging Protocol interface for Node.js

chrome-remote-interface is a Node.js library that provides a convenient interface for interacting with the Chrome DevTools Protocol, allowing developers to control and instrument Chromium-based browsers programmatically. The project exposes browser debugging and automation capabilities through a straightforward JavaScript API that abstracts the underlying DevTools protocol commands and events. By connecting to a running browser instance with remote debugging enabled, developers can inspect network activity, manipulate pages, capture screenshots, automate navigation, and analyze performance metrics. The library is commonly used for building browser automation scripts, testing tools, web scraping systems, and custom developer tooling that interacts directly with Chrome internals. Unlike higher-level tools such as Puppeteer, Chrome Remote Interface focuses on exposing the raw protocol in a more flexible and transparent way.

    cls-rtracer

    cls-rtracer

CLS-based request id generation for Express, Fastify, Koa and Hapi

Express & Koa middlewares and Fastify & Hapi plugins for CLS-based request ID generation, batteries included. An out-of-the-box solution for adding request IDs into your logs. Check out this blog post that describes the rationale behind cls-rtracer. Automatically generates a UUID V1 value as the id for each request and stores it in AsyncLocalStorage. Optionally, if the request contains an X-Request-Id header, uses its value instead. Allows to obtain the generated request id anywhere in your routes later and use it for logging or any other purposes.

    decimal.js

    decimal.js

An arbitrary-precision Decimal type for JavaScript

decimal.js is a JavaScript library that provides an arbitrary-precision decimal data type designed to overcome the limitations of native floating-point arithmetic in JavaScript. It allows developers to perform accurate calculations with numbers of virtually unlimited precision, making it especially useful for financial, scientific, and high-precision applications. Unlike standard JavaScript numbers, which can produce rounding errors due to binary representation, decimal.js ensures consistent and predictable results by operating on decimal values directly. The library defines a Decimal constructor that accepts numbers, strings, or existing Decimal instances, enabling flexible usage across different input types. It supports a wide range of mathematical operations, including arithmetic, logarithmic, trigonometric, and exponential functions, making it significantly more comprehensive than simpler numeric libraries.

    deck.gl

    deck.gl

    WebGL2 powered visualization framework

deck.gl is designed to simplify high-performance, WebGL-based visualization of large data sets. Users can quickly get impressive visual results with minimal effort by composing existing layers, or leveraging deck.gl's extensible architecture to address customer needs. deck.gl maps data (usually an array of JSON objects) into a stack of visual layers - e.g. icons, polygons, texts; and look at them with views: e.g. map, first-person, orthographic. deck.gl handles a number of challenges out of the box. Deck.gl is designed to be highly customizable. All layers come with flexible APIs to allow programmatic control of each aspect of the rendering. All core classes such are easily extendable by the users to address custom use cases. deck.gl is part of vis.gl, an OpenJS Foundation project. diskover-community

    diskover-community

Open source file indexing & storage analytics powered by Elasticsearch

Diskover Community Edition is an open source file system indexing and storage analytics platform designed to help organizations understand and manage large volumes of file data. It crawls file systems and indexes metadata using Elasticsearch, enabling fast search, analysis, and organization of files stored across different storage systems. It allows administrators and users to explore file structures, monitor storage usage, and gain insights into how data is distributed across infrastructure. By indexing file metadata from sources such as local file systems, network shares like NFS and SMB, and cloud storage, the tool provides a centralized way to analyze heterogeneous storage environments. Diskover also helps identify outdated or unused files, duplicate data, and inefficient storage usage that can waste resources or increase operational costs. A Python-based indexing engine performs the scanning and indexing tasks.

    dotenvx

    dotenvx

    A secure dotenv–from the creator of `dotenv`

dotenvx is an enhanced environment variable loader and manager that builds on the original dotenv concept by adding strong encryption and cross-platform tooling, making it safer to work with .env files in development and production environments. Designed by the creator of the classic dotenv library, dotenvx preserves the familiar workflow while adding safeguards against one of the biggest risks with plain environment files: plaintext secrets exposure. It offers CLI commands that can encrypt and decrypt .env files, inject environment variables at runtime, and support conventions like layered environment file loading similar to Next.js or dotenv-flow. Beyond basic runtime usage, dotenvx includes tooling for key management, listing .env files in structured views, and operations like variable rotation and scoped overrides, bringing more robust secrets handling to modern app stacks.

    electron-store

    electron-store

Simple data persistence for your Electron app or module

Simple data persistence for your Electron app or module. Save and load user preferences, app state, cache, etc. Electron doesn't have a built-in way to persist user preferences and other data. This module handles that for you, so you can focus on building your app. You can use this module directly in both the main and renderer process. For use in the renderer process only, you need to call Store.initRenderer() in the main process, or create a new Store instance (new Store()) in the main process. Changes are written to disk atomically, so if the process crashes during a write, it will not corrupt the existing config. Under the hood, the JSON Schema validator ajv is used to validate your config. We use JSON Schema draft-07 and support all validation keywords and formats. You should define your schema as an object where each key is the name of your data's property and each value is a JSON schema used to validate that property.

    eslint-plugin-flowtype

    eslint-plugin-flowtype

Flow type linting rules for ESLint

Flow type linting rules for ESLint. This plugin exports a recommended configuration that enforces Flow type good practices. To enable this configuration use the extends property in your .eslintrc config file. ESLint is designed to be flexible and configurable for your use case. You can turn off every rule and run only with basic syntax validation or mix and match the bundled rules and your custom rules to fit the needs of your project. There are two primary ways to configure ESLint. Use JavaScript comments to embed configuration information directly into a file. Use a JavaScript, JSON, or YAML file to specify configuration information for an entire directory and all of its subdirectories. This can be in the form of a .eslintrc.* file or an eslintConfig field in a package.json file, both of which ESLint will look for and read automatically, or you can specify a configuration file on the command line.

    eslint-plugin-import

    eslint-plugin-import

ESLint plugin with rules that help validate proper imports.

This plugin intends to support linting of ES2015+ (ES6+) import/export syntax, and prevent issues with misspelling of file paths and import names. All the goodness that the ES2015+ static module syntax intends to provide, is marked up in your editor. The maintainers of eslint-plugin-import and thousands of other packages are working with Tidelift to deliver commercial support and maintenance for the open-source dependencies you use to build your applications. Save time, reduce risk, and improve code health, while paying the maintainers of the exact dependencies you use. With the advent of module bundlers and the current state of modules and module syntax specs, it's not always obvious where import x from 'module' should look to find the file behind module. Up through v0.10ish, this plugin has directly used substack's resolve plugin, which implements Node's import behavior. This works pretty well in most cases.

    eslint-plugin-jsdoc

    eslint-plugin-jsdoc

JSDoc specific linting rules for ESLint

JSDoc specific linting rules for ESLint. Install ESLint either locally or globally. Rules may, as per the ESLint user guide, have their own individual options. In eslint-plugin-jsdoc, a few options, such as, exemptedBy and contexts, may be used across different rules. eslint-plugin-jsdoc options, if present, are generally in the form of an object supplied as the second argument in an array after the error level (any exceptions to this format are explained within that rule's docs). One can use minLines and maxLines to indicate how many line breaks (if any) will be checked to find a jsdoc comment block before the given code block. These settings default to 0 and 1 respectively. In conjunction with the require-jsdoc rule, these settings can be enforced so as to report problems if a jsdoc block is not found within the specified boundaries. The settings are also used in the fixer to determine how many line breaks to add when a block is missing.

    fastText

    fastText

Library for fast text classification and representation

FastText is an open-source, free, lightweight library that allows users to learn text representations and text classifiers. It works on standard, generic hardware. Models can later be reduced in size to even fit on mobile devices. ext classification is a core problem to many applications, like spam detection, sentiment analysis or smart replies. In this tutorial, we describe how to build a text classifier with the fastText tool. The goal of text classification is to assign documents (such as emails, posts, text messages, product reviews, etc...) to one or multiple categories. Such categories can be review scores, spam v.s. non-spam, or the language in which the document was typed. Nowadays, the dominant approach to build such classifiers is machine learning, that is learning classification rules from examples. In order to build such classifiers, we need labeled data, which consists of documents and their corresponding categories (or tags, or labels).

    glslCanvas

    glslCanvas

Simple tool to load GLSL shaders on HTML Canvas using WebGL

glslCanvas is a JavaScript library for loading and animating GLSL fragment and vertex shaders inside HTML canvas elements with WebGL. Developers can attach shaders through HTML data attributes or instantiate a programmable canvas sandbox in JavaScript. The library automatically creates the WebGL context, compiles the supplied shader, and begins rendering it. Shaders can be loaded from inline strings or external URLs and reloaded while the page is running. Built-in uniforms expose elapsed time, viewport resolution, mouse position, and ordered texture inputs. Custom uniforms and textures can also be supplied, making the library useful for shader demos, generative graphics, interactive backgrounds, and learning tools.
