Asar is a simple extensive archive format, it works like tar that concatenates all files together without compression while having random access support. You can pass in a transform option, which is a function, that either returns nothing or a stream. Transform. The latter will be used on files that will be in the .asar file to transform them. There is also an unofficial grunt plugin to generate asar archives at bwin/grunt-asar. Asar uses Pickle to safely serialize binary value to file, there is also a node.js binding of Pickle class. The header_size and header are serialized with Pickle class, and header_size's Pickle object is 8 bytes. offset and size record the information to read the file from the archive, the offset starts from 0 so you have to manually add the size of header_size and header to the offset to get the real offset of the file. -

Web Archives is a browser extension that enables you to find archived and cached versions of web pages, and comes with support for more than 10 search engines. Searches can be initiated from the context menu and the browser toolbar. A diverse set of archive and cache sources are supported, which can be toggled and reordered from the extension's options. Visit the wiki for the full list of supported search engines. You may choose to allow the extension to run on every website, or grant access to the current website before a search. When you grant access only to the current website, access must also be granted to each search engine in order to view search results. A handful of search modes are offered that serve different use cases. The search mode can be set independently for the context menu and the browser toolbar from the extension's options. -

A DOM-only, super-fast, uber-tolerant XSS sanitizer for HTML, SVG and MathML. It's also very simple to use and get started with. DOMPurify was started in February 2014 and, meanwhile, has reached version 2.3.0. DOMPurify is written in JavaScript and works in all modern browsers (Safari (10+), Opera (15+), Internet Explorer (10+), Edge, Firefox and Chrome - as well as almost anything else using Blink or WebKit). It doesn't break on MSIE6 or other legacy browsers. It either uses a fall-back or simply does nothing. Our automated tests cover 17 different browsers right now, more to come. We also cover Node.js v14.15.1, v15.4.0, running DOMPurify on jsdom. Older Node.js versions are known to work as well. DOMPurify is written by security people who have vast background in web attacks and XSS. -

Included in the report is a reference doc that explains the importance of the audit and how to fix the problem areas, which you can use to improve the web app or web page. Lighthouse can be integrated directly into the Chrome DevTools with its own panel. To run it, you would simply have to select the Lighthouse panel and click on "Generate report". It can also be run from the command line, or as a Node module. -

flatted is a compact serialization library for JavaScript data that contains circular or repeated object references. It provides parse and stringify functions with an interface modeled after the native JSON API. During serialization, objects, arrays, and strings are flattened into indexed entries, allowing the parser to rebuild the original reference graph later. The package also includes toJSON and fromJSON helpers for classes that need recursive data to survive standard JSON workflows. It supports ESM, CommonJS, and CDN delivery, with related implementations available for PHP, Python, and Go. Flatted only handles JSON-compatible values, so specialized objects and internal runtime resources require a different serialization strategy. -

Declare document structure and let pdfmake do the rest. Use paragraphs, columns, lists, tables, canvas, etc. Declare your own styles, use custom fonts, build a DSL and extend the framework. Provides a set of options to disable font layout cache and to control when pages are flushed to the output file. Pdfmake is runnable in browser (client-side) and in Node.js (server-side). PDF name can be defined only by using metadata title property. Add-ons used in browsers can affect the functionality of pdfmake (especially for open() and print()). If pdfmake is not working try disable add-ons in browser. The supported browsers are Internet Explorer 10+, Edge 12+, Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari. -
